The source was fucked. They were lured right into an ambush. The terrorists didn't fire at the search party instead waited for top level officers who were about to put up a field operation base in that very area. As soon as they arrived they were fired upon. It all started when a local went to a police HQ to inform about the terrorists. He was tailed by a mole, one thing lead to another and here we are. As of now there are approximately 8 terrorists holed up in the area.Anyone knows what the hell happened there ??
seen it many times , if operation in such area go on for 3-4 days , then terrorist usually run away , news will fade away slowly and no one will care againThe source was fucked. A battalion sized force is on hunt along with drones and K9s and by now as you all are aware, SF has been deployed too. General level officers are in field (1 Maj. Gen and 1 Lt. Gen).
Those homemade PCs and load carriers are beyond disgusting, I canโt even imagine how restrictive and uncomfortable they are to move in let alone fight in.
Hubris and compromised intel assets have burnt more than 1 operation (maybe the most famous is that triple agent that took out senior CIA analysts in Afghan inside their FOB) but Iโll reiterate that the IA has been doing this for how many decades and still makes such amateur mistakesThe source was fucked. Nah, the Brits called them "Rangers" and the Special operations brigade etc but these guys main job will be FID, training up forces in Africa, ME, Asia. Not much HSLD taskings

The SFSG (really should change the name) is actually what we'd consider "Rangers" in the British military. There has been some talk of their designation being changed to Para-Commandos or Raiders etc but nothing concrete yet.
Yes, Im sure the civilians of a 80 IQ country have lots of brains when they think they can liberate tibet.listen from 1:54. the same mentality that is getting our men killed everyday.
Then listen from 2:48. Officer casualty is not a thing to be bragged about.
"bloody civilian must not lecture us on fu*k ups! For we are a master of fu*k ups!"
Not to mention these idiots are wearing a different camo from the rest of their soldiers.Hubris and compromised intel assets have burnt more than 1 operation (maybe the most famous is that triple agent that took out senior CIA analysts in Afghan inside their FOB) but Iโll reiterate that the IA has been doing this for how many decades and still makes such amateur mistakes
On top of that why are generals or any senior officers in the field even now? If other militaries can command operations from the other side of the world what is the need for officers of high rank in the field other than to present another HVT to the enemy and create confusion to local units? The IA still hasnโt built up adequate C&C infra on their own soil?
Field Officers, Young Officers, JCOs, NCOs, and ORs, are the reason the "india" has had military success in all wars barring onethis is the kind ofarsenals our enemies are using in the NE
this is what our guys deal with
Have to admit the fact that these guys means business and not typical garbage militants we have been seeing for the last 5-10 yearsThe source was fucked. They were lured right into an ambush. Meh. Post elimination of wani they have been upping their quality yearlyHave to admit the fact that these guys means business and not typical garbage militants we have been seeing for the last 5-10 years
They are displaying good small unit tactics against a larger (predictable) opfor. this is the second ambush in the last few months.Have to admit the fact that these guys means business and not typical garbage militants we have been seeing for the last 5-10 years
Smaller units get away far easier tooThey are displaying good small unit tactics against a larger (predictable) opfor. this is the second ambush in the last few months.
