SAS behind Sierra Leone rescue

Full details of Op Khukhri is available in the "Mission Overseas" by Sushant Singh

The SAS did nothing more than training the Indian SF on slithering from Chinook (in which 2 para cdos got injured in training),providing maps and phosphorous grenades and giving their inputs on the indian plans.

They were manning the helicopter as support crews acting as a link between pilot and Indian Para commandos.

Such an ass these people are..how can a white guy from SAS go undercover?

The Indian guy who went undercover happened to be a Gurkha officer from 2 Para who was choosen for his looks which were similar to captured troops.

This was a remarkable op because not only did the AMericans and Brits not help us but countries like nigeria and some moles in UN and politics tried their best to leak info and mock us.

Truly incredible India..some operators dont like wearing helmets and some put quotes on it.

The operator closer to camera seems to be wearing standard IAF issue sweater

The ballistic shields have an interesting way to link to each other, forming a portable morcha of sorts.

P90 uses a specially developed 5.7×28mm small-caliber , high-velocity cartridge. Designed to replace 9x19mm Parabellum which was used with many earlier SMGs like MP-5 , on the request of NATO , it was developed by FN Herstal . It is capable of better penetration than 9x19mm Parabellum Rounds and also has greater range , accuracy and terminal performance and also is capable to penetrate body armour . 5.7×28mm SS190 when fired from P90 can penetrate a NATO CRISAT vest or a Level IIIA Kevlar vest at 200 metres ranges. Weighing only 93 Grains , it has an exceptional flat trajectory.
