Guys does anyone have links to the PATRIOT episode which Major Gaurav Arya did with the SF guys?
Go to the channels official site. Don't have high expectations.Guys does anyone have links to the PATRIOT episode which Major Gaurav Arya did with the SF guys?
The Republic documentaries are nothing much to speak of. It was underwhelming at best and bad quality to say the worst. Looks gimmicky and insincere. They seem to believe that they have monopolized the 'nationalist' audience so they can get away with bad quality.Guys does anyone have links to the PATRIOT episode which Major Gaurav Arya did with the SF guys?
So fucking true. Republic TV has been a big disappointment. They seem to be competing with Memri TV rather than BBC, RT or even Al-Jazeera.The Republic documentaries are nothing much to speak of. Keep an eye on LSTV, it makes really good documentaries. They never advertise it, it comes up at the most random time.
The same guy Gaurav Arya runs a Youtube channel called Paperweight where they document first hand experiences from veterans. It's more than exceptional.

Both episodes were SO dull, what a disappointment. Most of the time sat around talking and talking basics, nothing new was shown in either episode! The Republic documentaries are nothing much to speak of. They could have made a meaningful program even without showing weapons and tactics. Our camera quality has gone up from 480p to 4k but the art of narration has gone down. Both episodes were SO dull, what a disappointment. I guess the fact that they filmed at the SFTS (SF training school) and not an operational unit means there wasn't much too show or that they could show but still
Indian channels are presently busy doing investigative journalism about whether aliens drink cow's milk or not.As such I don't see indian channels showing intention, time and budget to produce a high quality documentary.
NDTV Hindi did a lot of good quality programs but that was thanks to the presenter. Rocky and mayur were nice ones too.
Dude IndiaTV is hardcore rashtravadi. Its viewership dwarfs that of all English news channels combined. Same goes for all regional TV stations. Here they are serving their audience what they want to listen to. You should watch their specials on Pakistan.Indian channels are presently busy doing investigative journalism about whether aliens drink cow's milk or not.
The guy shown in this vid is not SF. He is from 7 Para and thats a Paratrooper battalion. They could have made a meaningful program even without showing weapons and tactics. Our camera quality has gone up from 480p to 4k but the art of narration has gone down.
There is an old docu about SF, see how well made this is. It takes the viewer through the journey that the SF recruit goes through.
Probation, training, basic tactics, advanced tactics, equipment, infiltration techniques, para jumps. In an 11 minute video they have shown all relevant bits without disclosing any sensitive data.
