@SREEKAR SIR ,
It is not an arrow,a initial which I edited out so don't read too much into it.
@ALBY bro these photos are mostly 2 to 5 years old.I believe they have similar pattern as Indian army.
SFF regular uniform
SFF combat uniform
SFF do have digital camo,but mostly in form of t shirts .I think that this will be adopted by them as well as Indian army in future for combat uniform.

@ALBY bro no one has received anything in Indian infantry ,few things which you have seen have been bought by commanders as per the special fund allotted to them.The bullet proof vest you see in j&k are just stop gap measures and not proper modular bullet proof vest as they are supposed to be,even the helmet which is touted as new helmet is a cheap polymer copy of american m1 helmet produced by our govt psu.Please go through the link provided regarding the current status of procurement.
While other countries have completed or are on the verge of completing their futuristic infantry programmes ,we have cancelled ours.Only a miracle can place things in order now otherwise Indian Infantry modernization is a big mess.
Marcos have already adopted digital camo and modular vest, as the lead operator can be seen wearing .I have seen a photo of marcos in which more operators are wearing the same vest but I am not able to find it right now.
