We know the Chinese intentions very well. What dismays me the most is that tiny neighbors of ours are falling in Chinese laps like sausages to sabotage our national interest. No second thoughts from Lankans and China had a free run.

I believe it went in international waters only after 20 days during which it wasn't detected on Indian waters?

You must know, Ship was on diplomatic visit, in this kind of visits Navies inform other navies prior to its departure abt the mission..

Where PLAN vessel was unauthorized into our waters, Spying on our movements secretly, This vessels can be destroyed..

And Sailors can be detained..

Sinking such spying ships by saying pirates ship would be a good excuse and a proper answer to China in his way. I don't see any harm in this way.

This is payback by the Sri-Lankans for the pathetic GOI policy of sitting on the sidelines when the SLA was fighting that psycho Prabakaran and his Tamil Tigers.

Pak and China actively supported SLA with weapons and now they are reaping the rewards. India with its stupid never-ending neutrality status(which is code for NOT DOING ANYTHING) is again caught with its pants down.

The same thing is happening in the Middle-East where these corrupt dictators are being toppled and India is again hedging its bets by supporting the status quo.

The funny part is, once radar finally detected it, how do we know that the ship was there from last 20 days, and has 22 labs? Does radars provide these information too?

Realations with srilanka, burma and bangladesh key for such spying and the fact that they got away from us indicate their depth of relations with our neighbors.
Next they'd be spying activity A&N islands from their satellites.
Our Navy may be developing, but we gotta improve our relations in the military aspect of our neighbors. But we do have a counter to this issues to make chinese upset, lets see whats next.

What are you taking about???
It was India that played the most important role. Unlike China and Pakistan we did not want any advertisement.

Pak and Chinese weapons were not what made the big difference.
How do you think SL was able to sink each and every LTTE ship carrying weapons. How do you think SL was able to detect those ships in international waters. How do you think SL destroyed the LTTE sea arm.
Now to diplomacy. Why do you think the western backers of LTTE backed down? Chinese pressure???

. Everybody knows the role played by India. If not for India, Eelam would have become reality a long time ago.
China is just a bogeyman used by us to justify our support to SL.

The Lankans massacred thousands in the name of fighting terrorism and ultimately wiped out all resistance. What more do you want?

India downplays any chinese anti-India movement since 62... i dont know what stops them now with so much world support and arms.... i think the phobia is still in the leadership...deeply entrenched...

Well, it seems that Indian Navy isn't capable enough to counter China even in its own backyard, forget dreams of power projection in international waters with a blue-water navy, which I don't think it will even by 2020 ! First, protect your own backyard then dream big !

This is called "All show no substance". Our economist PM doesn't want to waste time on such things, it drains our money on useless activities like defense, every body is loosing self-confidence, when the Queen is not feeling so well.

As my understanding that is a spy ship traveling in the international sea area and indian navy has no authority over there. And everybody is doing that everywhere, including india.

If you sank it by "pirates ship, I am sure that there would be an indian boat to sunk by "pirate ship". Than the same circle would go on and on and on until both side are tired of this game. Do you want that?

I don't understand why India's surveillance of its coast is given such a low priority. Ships go adrift, hit the rocks, wash up on the beach and no one knows. India has to get more proactive and do to Chinese trawlers the same they do to Vietnamese.

A spy ship is a ship deployed by the army to see what other countries are doing....

That was what we call the chinese spy ship... it was spying on agni-2 prime missile just a week ago. If u dont think thats spying... then what is it ???

You don't sink it, you fire warning shots and escort it out of the test area. India can say it was done for "safety reasons." I get away with so much crap using that excuse.
