After observing this phenomena for far too long & giving this much thought , let me confess I'm not convinced of the figures in terms of the armaments put forth by the IN .

Not only are we hiding information , we're also creating a lot of floor space for future upgradation like for instance our Destroyers will be armed not just with the XR range of SAMs but also the AD-1/AD-2 series.

Thats a given.
Take it for granted that IN ships are hiding stuff.

It's a mini-frigate, more compared to a missile boat... It's anti-sub capabilities are not stellar.

Is the Brahmos really worth the size and weight? The IN could instead carry 16 of the stealthy Naval Strike Missile (NSM) for much less weight like some Western Navies.
The weight and space savings should be enough to have a 48 cell VLS for air defence instead of the 32 cell currently used.
