Hey @binayak95 , bro, check this one out.

Yes, it is possible to have mechanism to remove the compartments on board itself.
Good luck trying that in the high seas.
But I am not sure even Mk41 has that ability for now.
No, they DO NOT!! Because it's FUCKING STUPID!! They tinkered with idea for a bit, used to have a retractable crane but quickly discarded it once they realized how impractical it was.
Modifying such a big system on the deck is not easy.
Why the FUCK you'd want to indulge in such tomfoolery?? What the fuck it's gonna accomplish, you effing moron??!!

As far as enemy knowledge is concerned, it is difficult to know how many missile reloads are present onboard even if number of launchers are detected.
There are no reloads onboard a naval ship, you dumbass!! The ones you carry in your VLS cells are all you have and once expended, you will have to make a port call in a friendly port to rearm.

Do you have low IQ? What was the point of asking a single VLS launcher for both MRSAM & Brahmos? What was the purpose if they can't be reloaded at will and require recompartmentalisation everytime?

Do you not have common sense to know that MRSAM is a much smaller and lighter missile than Brahmos and even 4 of them would still weigh less than 1 Brahmos? Then having specialised VLS for MRSAM would require much less space, mainly height & also width than recompartmentalising Brahmos VLS. Did your negative IQ mind not understand this before barking loud for unnecessary quadpacking Brahmos VLS?

Why the FUCK you'd want to indulge in such tomfoolery?? What the fuck it's gonna accomplish, you effing moron??!!
Your negative IQ mind can't seem to comprehend reality as it is but just give random examples and shout loudly thinking that your shouting will scare off people. Why won't you suck yourself and chill instead of barking like mad dogs and polluting everything?

Smaller missiles should be able to be reloaded, especially CIWS, Vshorad & to even 280kg MRSAM missiles. USA actually had a crane for reloading large missiles in Burke class which they retired due to safety reasons while reloading. But this difficulty is mainly because USA missiles are pretty huge except for ESSM and the VLS canister would weight 2-3tons. But if cranes are exclusively kept for reloading SAM missiles then it can be practically accomplished. Why would you want to make this impossible by quadpacking small missiles in a big Brahmos VLS?

Considering the scenarios of mass bombardments like Iran launching 1000 missiles & drones at Israel, if such a mass bombardment occurs at a warship, it can't afford to abandon mission

Port calls in friendly countries? Are you out of your mind? Which Which is the friendly country India has? Does India store missiles in friendly country's ports? Even otherwise Do you think UAE, Iran or other Ummah brothers will allow India to port during war with Pakistan?

What exactly is being sprayed? Is it just water or is some kind of disinfectant/antibiotic, UV, chemicals are used to counter the bio, chemical & nuclear threats?
Just seawater to wash off radiation chemicals and fires too later they pump some freshwater to clean those corrosive salt water off the pipes and all

MRSAM has 0.225m diameter while Brahmos has 0.6m diameter. So, it may be able to quadpack in Brahmos VLS. But that VLS will require significant modification and will not be able to be used for both Brahmos & MRSAM interchangeably. Any switch from MRSAM to Brahmos will require the compartments to be removed which is not possible during operational duties.

This is why it is best to keep them different & separate. Since AShM is epxected to have at least 300-400km range and a big warhead whereas MRSAM has only 70km range with small warhead, it is not realistic to expect the launcher sizes to ever become similar.

Udaygiri is very close to Nilgiri in terms of construction progress.
MDL believes it can deliver two frigates this FY if things go according to plan (with subsystems delivered on time).
SRGM missing in ship. Possibility of an older 76mm SRGM from Godavari Class may be used here.

Anti-Submarine Shallow Water Crafts INS MAHE, INS MALVAN & INS MANGROL are 78.0 m long, 11.36 m wide with a draught of about 2.7 m. The displacement is about 896 tons, with a maximum speed of 25 knots ande ndurance of 1800 nautical miles. The vessels are designed to fit indigenously developed, state-of-the-art SONARS, for underwater surveillance. Concurrent
launching of the three (3) ships is yet another milestone achievement for Cochin Shipyard Ltd. The first ship of the project is planned to be ready for delivery by Nov 2024.
