Exactly. US and France (U.K. previously and maybe building back up to it) are the only nations to maintain a credible high tempo carrier force (and the French struggle with presence because of only having 1 carrier) that conduct long global deployments away from their shores. Has an Indian CBG ventured beyond the Indian EEZ….ever? The typical US CBG deployment is upwards of 4-6 months (can be up to 9 in operations), the IN’s longest carrier deployments don’t seem to be longer than a monthWhat for ? Our aircraft carriers spend more time in maintenance than at sea. At least this is true of the INS Vikramaditya . Besides they don't venture more than 1000 kms away from our coasts , MOSTLY. Compare that to US carriers which voyage around the world always on short notice to join action in troubled spots .
