Then we are going to survive with INS JALASHWA for next decade also. 30,000 to 35,000 ton range can be easily manufactured by CSL. Only requirement is Design from Navy. We can use the built the flat top for Heli and internal bay to host troops, Armored vehicles bay can be analyzed and develop from INS Jalashwa. Indirectly we have the capability to build LHD.

Regarding LHD. Again we are re tendered for 4 LHD. Looks like Spain with Juan Carlos-1 and French Mistral class will be the main contender. Wonder is it require to have TOT regarding LHD since we produced our own AC by CSL. We can built with our own knowledge.

INS JALASHWA can't use in military operation.
Navy don't have the expertise to design such boats now, but from the list, tech from iac2 and hospital ship plus expertise in landing ships help in future. Its falls in between lhd/lpd.

Is there any timeline given to fulfill these requirements or just Navy stated it's requirements to govt ?

Ok it got updated , one thing is wierd , even though nilgiri was launched already , why the nilgiri class boat in dry dock ??
The vizag class here is third in the series , the two hull under fabrication are most probably a vizag and nilgiri class respectively

they get docked multiple times during fitting out ...like for adding bulbous bow etc
yes the ticks are vizag and cross is nilgiri
