AEM equipment installed on Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard ALH Mk III helicopters - Vertical Mag

AEM provided a 700-watt public address system for the ALH featuring a 6-bell speaker array that HAL integrated using a custom external mount. AEM’s loudspeaker and siren solutions have been proven to compensate for the high noise levels and rotor wash common in their operating environment. In addition to the AEM loudspeaker system, the multi-mission ALH aircraft includes other state-of-the-art mission equipment such as a medical intensive care unit (MICU), high-intensity search light (HISL), surveillance radar system and more.

What is the full form of this AEM company, there is one AEM in Noida which supplies materials to Railways, Army, Central electronics Limited company and similar govt companies.

And how's that not old ?

Panther built in India with production line here ain't a bad deal.

But I think HAL is mature enough to bring a new cleansheet design for navy that can not only act as NUH but also act as Romeo replacement in future.
Please watch this and understand why indigenous weapons are Primary and should be.

Indigenisation helps in boosting economy as well, as if we create a huge indigenous arms industry, we can create a huge number of highly paid jobs that will drive the growth of Indian economy.

I asked the same doubt in this thread, I'll ask it again!! Why can't we use these decommissioned ships in reserves or commission them in the Coast Guard??
Or simply sell them to some small countries for some cash which benefits both nations. We have a havit of donating old ships to those who have a formality requirement. Selling them off can give us some more fund.

We do but remember there is operation cost involved too which is very high for these high end assets and many agencies might shy away from operating them

Indian Navy Ship Pralaya Arrives in Abu Dhabi, UAE to participate in NAVDEX 21 and IDEX 21

Indian Naval Ship Pralaya arrived at Abu Dhabi, UAE today 19 Feb 21 to participate in the NAVDEX 21 (Naval Defence Exhibition) and IDEX 21 (International Defence Exhibition), scheduled from 20 to 25 February 2021.

INS Pralaya, the second ship of the indigenously built Prabal Class Missile Vessels, was commissioned in the Indian Navy on 18 December 2002. The 56 m long ship, displacing about 560 T is capable of speeds in excess of 35 knots and is fitted with an impressive array of weapons and sensors. These include a 76.2 mm medium range gun, 30 mm close range guns, chaff launchers and long range surface to surface missiles. The ship, built indigenously at Goa Shipyard Limited, bears testimony to capabilities of the Indian ship building industry and is a versatile platform capable of performing a wide variety of surface warfare missions.

Participation of INS Pralaya in NAVDEX 21 and IDEX 21, one of the leading international naval and defence exhibitions of the region, is aimed at showcasing the strengths of India’s indigenous ship building, in line with Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of ‘AtmaNirbhar Bharat’. In addition, participation of an Indian Navy Ship in NAVDEX 21 and IDEX 21 also highlights close relations between India and UAE.

Defence relations between India and UAE have been steadily growing since the upgradation of bilateral relations to a ‘Comprehensive Strategic Partnership’ during the visit of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in January 2017 as Chief Guest at India’s Republic Day celebrations. Towards enhancing interactions between the two navies, inaugural edition of Indian Navy – UAE Navy bilateral exercise GULF STAR - 1 was conducted in March 2018. The next edition of the exercise is likely to be conducted in 2021. In addition, Indian Navy ships have been making regular port calls at UAE for promoting maritime cooperation. INS Mysore, an indigenously built guided missile destroyer, mission deployed in the region, is also making a port call at Abu Dhabi, UAE from 19 to 22 Feb 21.

Deployment of Indian Navy ships to Abu Dhabi, UAE underscores deep rooted friendly ties and multi-faceted cooperation between India and UAE, and will further strengthen defence cooperation between the two countries.
