Finland also has same system, for profit schools are abolished. Only govt. schools and non-profit trusts run schools. Over 95% govt. school. Since rich people send their kids to govt. school, there is huge lobbying pressure for good education.
In case of China it is different.

CPC wants to keep the narrative and indoctrination in their firm control.

True! A bulk of students who score from 40% to 60% in school till colleges end up doing some business and earn more than the ones scoring 80-100%.

Making a Rs 1 cr per yr turnover business is not that difficult in current market.
Unfortunately (my opinion) the vast majority of them already have baap ka business. That allows them to have the casual attitude to be fine with 40-60% scores.
So how much greenfield businesses are being created is unclear.

We need to get clear distinction between IT services companies - TCS/Infy/HCL/Wipro/CTS and the Big Tech _ MAANG/FANG.
We often confuse one with other.
Because they themselves claim say to govt and get benefits for R&D they do IIRC. India needs to create a firewall for some product areas. First like Voip communication , VPN - only Indian products should be allowed. Slowly create your own ecosystem.

Number of New Companies registered every year as per SBI Ecowrap report.

2022-23 - 2 Lakh
2021-22 - 1.67 Lakh
2020-21 - 1.55 Lakh
2019-20 - 1.22 Lakh
2018-19 - 1.24 Lakh

The number of company registration was mostly concentrated towards small companies with an authorised capital of less than Rs 1 crore, with around 90 per cent share, the Ecowrap report said

Sector-wise, the maximum number of companies 44,168 were incorporated in the business services domain followed by manufacturing (34,640 companies), community, personal and social services (23,416 companies) and agriculture & allied activities (13,387 companies) in FY22.

Seems a healthy growth in Micro enterprises.

Seems a healthy growth in MSMEs.
Incorporation might present a devious picture because of the large number of benami and nameplate companies.

Not true at all!
All the new Industrial areas in NCR were mostly occupied by people migrating from outside of NCR during 80s till 2000s. Most came with few hundred bucks and made big business here.
Currently also, I have seen so many new age kids doing good business on their own.

Our whole it industry is based on outsourcing how would this work exactly. In my example my client is from US using Microsoft products for general stuff and then using a US company based VPN why would they choose a Indian one in this scenario

Nopes.
And you don't have to road around getting permissions too. Get your company registered in some bank. They will provide guidance on what certificates or permissions are required.

Take some hall on rent and start your business from next day.

on the funding bit, by now it is clear that banking system can't handle NPAs, Banking system is not interested in funding NPAs since the R&D success rate is not 100%, VCs are not interested in funding R&D in India they'd rather do it in the west, Indian govt are already doing their bit in selected areas.

so perhaps some gyani people will have to come up a India specific funding model.

or perhaps it is simply the case that 30 years is too shorter a time for thinking of these sort of things.

just looks at what happened to ONDC, donno how many people noticed but there was a targeted campaign against ONDC last month using price comparisons with incumbent players as the theme. defending the product against targeted campaigns also needs funds.
Sam Altman - founder of OpenAI and ChatGPT - is in India and VCs are asking some tough questions to him
