I was warning about this from some time. India is also going down green fundamentalism nonsense. I hope this is just a extreme taqiyya position to water down tough targets being set on developing countries by the West specially after EUs return back to coal. This is something not achievable and not practical. It is also inconsistent with Indian energy mix planning for next 20 years.

1 . The Shah Agro Plast intends to set up irrigation, agricultural and drip pipes manufacturing unit with capacity of 4,000 TPA at Nanded Industrial Area in Nanded district of Maharashtra. The Work on the unit is expected to commence by January 2023.

2 . The Om Packing Industries intends to set up a corrugated boxes manufacturing unit at Ausa MIDC in Latur district of Maharashtra.

The project will come up over 12 acres of land parcel. The company is in the process of acquiring land for the unit.

3 . The United Provinces Sugar Co is planning to expand sugar mill capacity from 5,000 tccpd to 12,000 tccpd in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. The project will also include expansion of co-generation power plant from six MW to 15 MW.

The Projects Today, the United Provinces Sugar Co is still awaiting environment clearance for capacity expansion. The company is in the process to achieve financial closure for the project. Work on the mill is expected to begin by the end of FY23. And It is also finalising contractor and machinery supplier for the unit.

4 . The Osiya Sugar Mill intends to set up grain based distillery to produce ethanol with a capacity of 60 klpd at Ramgadh in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. The project will also include 1.5 MW co-generation power plant. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change MoEF&CC has accorded environment clearance for the grain-based distillery unit.
