Next day Mehbooba makes a statement claiming that if 370 is removed then Kashmir will break away from India. Today SC has entertained a plea challenging the constitutional validity of 370. Don't listen to a single word, just bulldoze your way. That's the only language these people understand.

Doval's appointment as NSA was decided even before Modi was elected. To be honest, it seems like Doval appointed Modi, not the other way round.

Doval had retired in 2005 and started an NGO Vivekananda Foundation in 2009 after the drubbing of Advani. The 2014 election of Modi was nothing short of an intel coup against an entrenched establishment. Large scale people's mobilization, Anna Hazare movement, everything was managed very well, almost like an intel unit would do it (something which happened in Sri Lanka later). There were even assassination attempts on Modi, multiple times, which were warded of by an invisible hand. First Ishrat Jahan, then there was a bomb in UP rally which was caught in time. No government stays in power without the will of the intel department. To that end, the governments promote intel chiefs who are favorable to their rule, and it's really sad that our intel played along with all of this, they even sold out Col Purohit and played along with the 'Hindu terror' angle which was the brainchild of Suchilkumar Shinde. All of this is not possible without intel collusion. Just goes to show that no one is incorruptible. These are the same people who spied on Netaji family for 4 decades.

I hope there was a purge in the intel department. This was probably the first thing which needed to be done even before one could hope for a Modi win. The rot had spread everywhere.

Yes, heard about that too. Was a keen follower of VIF, even today majority of the govt's top working officials are from VIF, including the retiring Niti Aayog vice-chairman. If one would have observed clearly, Doval has set up a game to which the opposition are actually dancing to his tunes, such is his vision that he has correctly observed them.
Everyone thinks of Doval as his man friday on natsec issues, but no one sees that he is playing the political game too, in fact, it is the trio - Doval, Modi and Shah who have set a motion in the political arena. Almost every intel officer wants to do the best for the country, and they know who was the best for safeguarding country's interest, and even after retirement Doval was considered a legend in IB and R&AW and it was easy for him to pull a few strings to help him out in his calculations.
What I have heard is also that every Ministry is under the hawk-eye of Doval, thus there is no place for financial mischief.

Nehru gave the Bharat Ratna to himself.

PM Nehru recommended the name of Nehru to the Bharat Ratna committee which was headed by PM Nehru. Then PM Nehru as the chairman of that committee accepted PM Nehru's nomination of Nehru as a Bharat Ratna nominee, then PM Nehru gave the Bharat Ratna to Nehru and Nehru accepted the Bharat Ratna from PM Nehru and thanked PM Nehru for awarding the Bharat Ratna to Nehru.

I used to love this show.
Season 6 is full of liberal shit - FBI is evil monster preying on innocent Pissfuls and throwing them into prison on trumped up charges, etc etc etc. Watching season 6 is similar to watcing Billary Clinton non-stop.
