Its good to see that more and more troops are appearing in digital camo. I hope it is based upon some pragmatic thinking by people in Army HQ and not by random choice of the soldiers. Also is the digital camo being used by IA is the same as CRPF cobra or its different ? Because in pics at least it looks the same. Can some one elaborate on this?

@Kunal Biswas

There are different breeds of wolves, we can choose the ones which prefer certain altitude and climate.

Wolves cannot be domesticated.

Wolves travel in packs, even if tangos trap or kill one of them others will not stop attacking or howling.

Wolves are territorial, they defend their territory as much as possible. Nobody passes thru their territory without them knowing. This also means there is a chance their territory will extend beyond LoC.

With wolves roaming around, nobody will venture out of their villages at night. We know that there is certain level of support from border villages to tangos. That would mean tangos will be forced to move during during the day.
You do realize that wolf and dog are the same species right?
Dogs are wolfs that have been (relatively) tamed and bred over the centuries(sometimes millennia.)
Selective breeding gives different breeds like herding dogs/ shepard dogs/guard dogs and so on. And dogs are also territorial and can also work in packs.

to my understanding domesticated breeds of dogs need humans to give commands, i thought wolves can survive on their own in their packs and are instinctively agressive.

In most cases when you release domesticated dogs on to the streets, pretty quickly they turn to their ingrained pack behaviour with an alpha leading them.

Dogs are also instinctively agressive, it is just that training since young age keeps them cool and obedient.

The problem with wolves would be that they will not be systematically reliable.
Dogs would form emotional bonds with their handlers, which means they can not be as dispensable as the wolves.

So we need aggressive dog species to guard border villages during night and dog should be loyal only to Indian army.
Is that feasible?

how about raising them in cantonments and garrisons along the border till that are 1-1.5 years old, that way they get used to sights and smells of jawans.

Of course it is feasible to breed dogs with those characteristics.
I bet they already use such dogs to guard our borders.

Russia (and erstwhile Soviet union) is a country which has a lot of high mountain borders.
And dogs like the ancient Caucausian shepard and the recently breed volkosob (wolf-dog; with recent addition of wolf blood) have guarded their borders.

12 Jihadis were trapped in Shopian today, but got away due to stone pelting by locals.
It's time to fuck there face with pellets.
I think Indian forces should use combination of pellets and bhoot jolokia grenade so that there fucked faces is fucked and burned at the same time, who cares if they loose there eye sight.
