To be mounted on LMGs.

Got confused with the numbers, took the total for each (36,000) when it's actually 10,600 + 26,000.

So, what are they gonna do about the helmet mounted sights? Aren't they getting any of that?

As far as I've seen most of the armies use helmet mounted sights and regular optics on their weapons. Hence, the doubt.

We're already using an Indian solution for it called HAL Lancer
