What happened to theaterization plans of Indian armed forces. No recent news?
Is it supposed to be this slow?

It takes years to bring the plan in action. But unfortunately lack of CDS is a big issue, Under Rawat ji he was regularly updated us regarding the theaterization but after his untimely death now it is unknown how much work done on that front.

I was looking at a video of the Singapore army and noticed their infantry gear and camo. God knows when the Indian army will start standardizing it's camo for all equipment in a particular theatre. Here you can see matching camo for helmet, BPJ, and Uniform, and all the helmets are kitted out uniformly and all the tactical vests have the same setup for all the troops. Standard sights for the rifles too. And these are regular conscripts. It's looking more and more like a pipe dream if we'll ever see Indian troops with this sort of uniformity and standardization of camo and equipment.
