Yup, Now they want 12 personnel in their 4x4. The gernails do this in every project, change the requirement so that videshi maal can be bought and they get commission after retirement.
How do we catch them in the act and prosecute them for corruption?

prosecute the jernails?
Well, these things don't exist in the dictionary of the almighty Indian Army.
What do you expect of an institution which didn't even bother to set a court of inquiry against those jernails who were in power when China ceased so much of our claimed land? Galwan Clash Happend, and we lost a high-ranking officer along with 20 other soldiers? Any COI why that happened and how could it be avoided?

The GOI and its agencies are so dumb that it can't even start an inquiry without any proof.
Fuck, even in the Bofors Scam, it was a civilian journalist who came out with proof and then the case was registered.

Lol .. why the simping for the Kalyan m4 ?
Are you ll getting commission from South Africa?
:hehe:

And incase you'll didn't realize 10 men is a full section in the IA.
Who cares? Kalyani paid for the IPRs of this to South Africa and is now producing these vehicles in India which means that it will be paid in rupees and the money stays in India for investment.

The only Indian company that meets 12 personnel requirement is BEML Gaur

But let me tell you that it will get rejected... and if you ask the reason then please refer to RFI of the Army.

They want 5 firing ports on both left and right side and gaur has only four. By citing this reason, the jernails will reject it.

Indian Army to take 72k rifles from Indian firms that were supposed to be bought from American firm Sig Sauer
After the scrapping of second order for 72,000 Sig-716 rifles from the American firm Sig Sauer, Officials have said that the planned orders for the rifles are now going to be given to the Indian Private Arms manufacturer who have made significant developments in this field.

For example, the Indo-Israeli Joint Venture PLR systems has already started manufacturing all the variants of the Galil rifle and is currently being evaluated by the Indian Army.

Another firm SSS Defense has also presented its new 7.62 millimeters by 39 caliber rifle Ak type Assault Rifle to the Indian Army at the recently held North Tech Symposium 2022. SSS Defence has earlier revealed their P-72 family of Assault Rifles, Carbines and two Sniper rifle variants named Viper and Saber.

Don't talk sense here. We are here just to talk nonsense & abuse the user.
Rant on.

the angle we should be worried about in my view is, this RFI is coming atleast 4-5 years after defence industry has been opened up for private companies, an armoured vehicle is as basic as it gets in terms of military procurement, and yet no private defence company figured out that a vehicle would be needed for a section(with their gear) to move. it's not like this is coming out of the blue, TATA Whap seating capacity is 10+2, cassipir MRAP is 12, OFB aditya is 10+2 and these are known for years.

Rant off.

either there is co-ordination screwup between forces and industry in this case, or there is some missing information we don't know of.

Let's leave the rant part aside and look at the platforms you mentioned.

WhAP is a totally another platform and can't be included under this RFI. So lets leave it.

Now coming to OFB MPV. The first part under which it don't qualify is its protection level.

This is OFB Yuktirath for you. Its not like IA has not operated it They have ordered and operated around 500 odd vehicles. Moreover I hope everyone of us remember what the NAXALS did with these Mine Protected Vehicles.
Second point where it don't make the cut is PWR. IA wants atleast 20HP/Ton with 2 ton payload. OFB MPV operates at 11HP/Ton.

Now let's come to Casspir. The Power to Weight ratio of Casspir is 13.6HP/Ton. Again it failed in its PWR ratio. But again its not like IA is not operating Casspir. Around 100 odd Casspir are still in active service with IA.

I think UN Generals should stop this tactic as vengeance towards subordinates.

If whatsapp or any other apps are banned for Armed forces then it should be punishable to all rather than using it for a purpose.

UN armed forces working culture is as rotten as Indian Judiciary.
India should not be UN Peacekeepers IMO. Limited benefit to it
