Thanks, seen and responded

Please don't call me sir, I work for a living

(British squaddie humour implying that commissioned officers don't work, only 'other ranks eg privates, JNCO's and SNCO's)
My apology for that.

For "that commissioned officers don't work", lol, I also think so, but for Indian forces.

Indeed, they don't work hard to kick the civilian bureaucrats and politicians in India.

Civilian bureaucrats and politicians are the same the world over. A waste of good oxygen more often than not ;)

If Army has its own Air Wing, then what is the purpose of IAF. Essentially you are saying that make IAF sub-ordinate to Army.

The aim should be better co-ordination between Army and IAF.
Are theatre commands the solution ?

Are you aware of the management syndrome called "Ye File Meri Hai".. How dare you..
What is happening all over the world?
Is AF subordinate to Armies there?
Functional and operational requirement is the decider and not egos.

The problem lies in long Chain of communications..

If are directly under Ground commander it gives him flexibility to operate them, And commands are directly not via goes to the operator hence less reaction time in battle where Men count every sec..

Why should there be problems with IAF... have not they created their own Garud?? Is not navy trying for their own amphibious forces and Marcos?

There is no end to empire building...

Presently Dhruv suit the need nicely..

Larger logistic transportation is done by IAF & there is no Complaints there..

How do you there are no complaints?
Secondly, how many troops Dhruv would carry and How many the MI-17 ? You think it does not matter ??

In that Case IAF provide MI-17 under Army command for Logistic duties..

The logistics problems are none to my knowledge in the field as last time i was in 2007..
