C2 is most costly compaire to others in medium weight category.....japan is very stupid. they can offer US 2 amphibious aircraft, aircraft engine nd diesel submarine (sauryu class or taigei class) to india, but they didnt. yes they offer US 2 amphibious aircraft, but not agree with indian requirements to make a deal. fortunately they now agree to give their stealthy unicorn naval antenna for frigate.Why Kawasaki is not pushing it's C2. It will win handsdown.
Twin engine TurboFan (works well at high altitude) ,that can carry more than 30T ; unlike C390, which would barely lift up Zorawar.
Modiji should make a trip to Japan.
C2 and A400 are equally priced and speced.C2 is most costly compaire to others in medium weight category.....japan is very stupid. they can offer US 2 amphibious aircraft, aircraft engine nd diesel submarine (sauryu class or taigei class) to india, but they didnt. yes they offer US 2 amphibious aircraft, but not agree with indian requirements to make a deal. fortunately they now agree to give their stealthy unicorn naval antenna for frigate.
A400 is also too costly, using Turboprop for 40 tons category is a very poor design choice.C2 and A400 are equally priced and speced.
Military equipment produced by Japan are very expensive, means less value for money, but JV to develop a tech is not badC2 is most costly compaire to others in medium weight category.....japan is very stupid. they can offer US 2 amphibious aircraft, aircraft engine nd diesel submarine (sauryu class or taigei class) to india, but they didnt. yes they offer US 2 amphibious aircraft, but not agree with indian requirements to make a deal. fortunately they now agree to give their stealthy unicorn naval antenna for frigate.

Its better to R&D, and manufacture MTA similar to C2 or A400 than buying them. The overall cost for purchase, maintain, upgrade of A400/c2 will be more than indigenous solutionA400 is also too costly, using Turboprop for 40 tons category is a very poor design choice.
Indian R&D organisations have a lot to prove by strictly following the timeline of existing mega projects .Its better to R&D, and manufacture MTA similar to C2 or A400 than buying them. The overall cost for purchase, maintain, upgrade of A400/c2 will be more than indigenous solution
Lmao 100 C295 will completely eat up whatever space RTA might haveIndian R&D organisations have a lot to prove by strictly following the timeline of existing mega projects .
Maybe order extra 100+ C295 and a dozen C130 as stop gap if we are thinking of building own MTA.
If I understand correctly RTA is civillian aircraft project. It should be more aerodynamic lean airframe built from scratch. We just recently signed deal with Safran to codevelope 4000 hp engine.Lmao 100 C295 will completely eat up whatever space RTA might have
It can easily be switched to a c295 equivalent (infact better), and replace the AN32sIf I understand correctly RTA is civillian aircraft project. It should be more aerodynamic lean airframe built from scratch. We just recently signed deal with Safran to codevelope 4000 hp engine.
Only Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai Airports have the infrastructure necessary for handling an Airbus A380 in India. The infrastructural and space constraints may not be feasible for us or anyone else really for military use.It seems THAI airways want to sell their six Airbus A380 up which are mostly grounded now, mostly not used anymore;
so say, can we buy these A380 for any purposes of the Indian Air Force, from using it as airlifter (instead of sending those C-17 Globemaster IIIs now and then ) or maybe converting them into mid-air refueling tankers or maybe converting them into cargo transporter jets OR let's say putting AWACS on it or turning them into electronics countermeasures+intelligence+communication jet or anything suitable...
oh we direly need engine testbeds...at least buy three of them for DRDO-GTRE-ADE purposes
Yes but for some expense in revamping some strategically important airports at all four corners for these A380s we can develop a serious transporting-airlifting capability; even if not going that far making AWACS and Jet Engine Testbeds out of these jets and stationing them in Bangalore/Delhi etc places would do a lot for us.Only Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai Airports have the infrastructure necessary for handling an Airbus A380 in India.
