The context was the aftermath of the Feb dogfights. People argued Abhi could triumph if he wasn't flying a dinosaur. And in a short while after IAF chief flies with his son in a Rafale. Leading people to criticize that the IAF was fine with flying Mig-21 but the chief's son flies the latest best.
How does that relate to the selection criteria that @vishnugupt was speaking about?

If you are son of chief then you will fly best jet of IAF. There is nothing like professionalism or fairness in IAF like Indian judiciary. It totally rotten institute.

Carrom board warriors often do Samosa training. More involved in giving pet names tolly, lolly, Tommy.
Our military is not some Arab country military for you to think that this is how things happen. Half-assed comments are easy to make without having the proper information(which no one has at this stage bar the pilots and the local SOF)

I do not know whether to accept these or not. After all CHina is mass producing J-22s and J-35s and AMCA is nowhere in sight. We would only accept them if we can ensure that there is no satellite link between the F35 to some base in Ohio tracking every movement and every detail. Operational security will not be compromised.
The AMCA is a good 10-12 years away. If Congress allowed a no strings attached sell of the F-35, it would be a game changer asset. But will they ? Keep in mind inducting the F-35 will torpedo the AMCA development and the advancements made so far may go to drain. Don't bother keeping up with Chinese on numbers. They have more J-10s in service than the total number of flyworthy fighters in IAF service.

As of August 2019, eleven Su-30MKIs had been lost to crashes since the introduction of aircraft in 2000 per Wikipedia. With this one IAF has lost a squadron of these fighter jets! Bravo! 👏

Meanwhile we have to wait for the replacements to come from Russia. Maybe the S400 and AK 203 deliveries along with the news of the $4 billion Su 30 MKI upgrade plan shows that this is slowly cooking in the background.

In the ongoing negotiations for the deal to buy 12 Su-30MKI fighter jets from Russia, the government has asked the stakeholders to include more made in India parts and content in the aircrafts.

And you can count on the pakjeets in PDF celebrating those crashes. Those fuckers.
What the Pakis think is none of our business. We should focus on our problems as opposed to contemplating what pakis are thinking.

IAF is not in a position to fight a two front war, to add an insult to the injury, these birds keep on dropping like crazy. Our squadron strength is depleting like anything.

I seriously think we shouldn't have opted out of PAKFA with Russia. By this time we would have started production itself and we still could have developed AMCA. now we don't have both of them and old planes r falling like flies.

Toh aap bata dijiye sahi information madam?
Dear clown, there is literally no information available about the incident right now(to us, atleast. The pilots and SOF involved do). You can keep black pilling on the forums, I don't give a fuck if you do so.

Top on that they never pay attention on aircraft maintenance.
However, don't write stuff like this bullshit. Where did you hear that pilots and airmen don't pay attention on aircraft maintenance? Where have you heard that they do samosa training? Do you know what sort of training the IAF pilots do? Where have you heard that there is no professionalism or fairness in IAF?

People do hard work and then get in the forces, especially officers who fly aircraft. Do not just write dumbass things out of nowhere. Things like what you describe happen in banana republics like Iraq or Egypt.
