WATCH - IAF's new 6-tonne vehicle that can withstand bullet and grenade attacks

New Delhi:
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has further enhanced the security of its airbases by inducting exceptionally sturdy trucks which can withstand any gun or grenade attack. The vehicles were on full show outside an airbase today.

The Light Bullet Proof Vehicles weigh 6 tonnes each and have the ability to bear any type of bullet and grenade attacks. They will prove instrumental in countering terrorist attacks in sensitive regions.

According to reports, the vehicles have the capacity to carry six Garud commandos or Quick Reaction Team members.

IAF set to lease A330 mid-air refueller from France for training

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has approached the French government to lease one Airbus A330 multi-role tanker transport aircraft for training purposes as a precursor to lease five more mid-air refuellers for increasing the combat capability and radius of its multi-role fighters.

French has a good defence ecosystem....

The IAF Is Best Suited To Lead India’s Theatre Commands

The ISRO has so far confined itself to providing imagery data support to the armed forces and, therefore, would need a doctrinal shift away from its wonted ‘civilian’ role to help the Air Defence Command

This better not be true
Lol. Those airframes are still manufactured in Hyderabad. India took away a large chunk of Korean aerospace industry due to India being more advanced in aviation compared to korea, that’s why such BS coming out of this account.

“Indian made airframes low quality” and koreans will believe it “coz India is poor, 3rd world and useless”.

That’s why those apache airframes passed every tests in India as well as USA, come on. TATA also manufactures the semi delta wings of the F-16s, Pilatus PC-12s, in future C-295 and their own aircraft as well. All high quality.

Lockheed Martin, their Sikorsky, Boeing and Airbus all make their aircraft components in India so that they can get low quality airframes :pound: . Koreans are far ahead of India is manufacturing no doubt but they somehow are not good in aviation. So ignore them.

Koreans last time claimed Junk Fighter-17 Asmani Jadeed Tareen Ladaka Taiyyara and FA-50 are finalists of Malaysian RFI, and later removed their own article. Lol.

Love Korea but this guy running the account is a noob.

Some how we are allowing the Mirage 2K to lag behind in terms of A2A capabilities.
In terms of A2G it's still a formidable beast but due to limitation of MICA in terms of range our Mirage is facing issues. MICA NG is still a few years away from induction/ operation.
Why can't be we use Derby ER / Astra with Mirage.
Is it due to HW issues or lack of SW suport ?
