Yeah. India should keep the pressure up.... be a force in being. Pakis cannot sustain a long drawn war.Sorry for the sober assessment.
All pics released by ISPR are of Mig-21 (including the one of the engine). If ISPR accidentally releases pictures of downed F-16, heads will roll. Sadly, we lack proof of downed F-16.
Air Marshall Chandrashekharan Harikumar replaced by Air Air Marshall Raghunath Nambair as Western Command Command chief - possibly because of Wind Commander Abhinandan Varthaman's capture. The timing and optics of this is questionable.
Several things to consider:
1. Imran Khan / Pak Army knows that a war of attrition goes against Pakistan. He wishes to close this chapter of hostilities using our pilot's release. They can claim victory and quit ahead - atleast that is what they expect to play to their gallery.
2. The engagement exposes our Air Defence capabilities. There are gaps in the western air defence and Pakistan knows this. We are struggling to replace our base air defense guns - but need more SAMs - as well.
3. Attacks against terror strikes demand cheap cruise missiles like Tomahawk, Kalibr and Raad. US used them against SSyria. Russiaused against Isis. Pakistan possess them. We do not have Nirbhay yet. Brahmos is too costly for these operations.
4. Mig-21 needs to be replaced fast - cannot afford delay in MK1A. But IAF should order and field more MK1s in the meantime - WVR equipped missiles in a BVR era will evidently lead to losses.
5. Future peace time engagements will be short and propaganda intensive. Need to consider this - all engagements need video recording and there should be a strategy to record and release wartime information. It is stupid to not picture a downed F-16.
This seems like retirement?Air Marshall Chandrashekharan Harikumar replaced by Air Air Marshall Raghunath Nambair as Western Command Command chief - possibly because of Wind Commander Abhinandan Varthaman's capture. The timing and optics of this is questionable.
They are mixing up images of 2 different wreckages to confuse people. One is f16 image the others are mig 21. India has accepted mig 21 loss so obviously mig 21 wreckage would be there.Found this in Keypublishing:

Now MWF will replace mirage 2000. I am going to write an Article of "Why MWF aka Tejas Mk2" is important. If we can add atleast some frontal stealth to MWF (Which is not going to happen soon), this plane can be winner. Like Russia designs their plane keeping in mind the US planes, it is the time for India to keep the designs of Chinese planes in mind while designing our own planes.
If Mirage-2000 did that, what a Rafale can do!
Let them deny. It is very good. Aur maro. bol bhi nahi sakate. But like always surrender freak porkis are oinking in denial. We should hit them again, this time with heavy artillery and MBRLs.
it is quite obvious that they are the same one, i thinkThey are mixing up images of 2 different wreckages to confuse people. One is f16 image the others are mig 21. India has accepted mig 21 loss so obviously mig 21 wreckage would be there.
Sab ho raha hai par Pappu madarchod who is acting on Chinese orders is trying his level best to delay this. September 2019 will silence every moron. We should buy Rafales off shelf now quickly, along with MKIs amd Mig29s or maybe 35s.
Between F-18 and Rafale, Rafale is the winner performance-wise. F-18 may have a chance for naval fighter. Then the Amreekis will push for F-18 or even F-35.
Do not underestimate Unkil's perfidy, canniness and craftiness.
So far all media reports point to that. Of course only iAF has full knowledge of the situation now, which can be released once he is safe.Has it been confirmed that it was Wg Cmdr Abhinandan who downed the F-16?
