It's USA... A nation almost similar to China when it comes to the trust part.
We need a counterbalance to china. US is the only one.

We counterbalanced US and china in 1971 by signing the treaty with USSR which provided for Ussr intervention in a war againist India.

We need something similar.

They bought F16-C/D using their own money. Entire F16 fleet of PAF were bought by pakis using their own money.
So this violation of terms of contract notion is farce
We bought INS Jalashwa (an Austin-class LPD) with our own money, too. Guess what? It doesn't mean squat!

Pakistan requires US Congress approval just to use these planes that they've paid for in full.

F 16 Blk 70 aka 'F 21' is history now. LOL! Lockheed just got #metoo'ed!
Don't think the Falcon ever had a chance, they would be allowed to bid but they would have been rejected, the sole US fighters who stand a chance in India are F-18 Block 3 or F-35 if offered.

As I’m sure @BON PLAN will tell you, this “5th gen” term is just a marketing term invnted by LM.

The Rafale is utterly unmatched in many of its capabilities and will be THE most capable fighter in Asia for a few decades once it lands in India later this year.

It has tech in it not even the F22 or F35 can claim to have and is decades ahead of the junk the Chinese market as “next generation”
Well best in Asia is a big stretch Japan already takes delivery of the F-35. While Rafale has some nice tricks that other don't have, other like the F-35 have more tricks that Rafale doesn't have.

Best in Asia is hogwash.

A user named Mort Walker on Mig 21 thread
"Some reports indicate Haider Shahbaz Ali is in training at Maxwell AFB, AL in the US."

Let’s wait to see what happens. If anybody from 19 sherdil squadron went down, it has to be him. Nobody else fits the script

curse the idiots in the congress that we don't have rafales right now. pakis wouldn't even dare come 20 km close to LoC if those birds were in service.
Please, Rafale won't prevent desperate Pukis from countering an attack or attacking, they would rather get pummeled and raise the white flag in a jiffy than not fight. You should know better by now.

Pakistani media report that the government has inked a deal with Jordan for 12 used F-16As and 1 F-16B:
The RJAF does fly F-16 MLUs bought second-hand from Belgium and the Netherlands, but this set being sold is from the 33-plane Peace Falcon I/II purchases of F-16 ADFs in 1997 and 2003. The F-16 ADF variant is actually the F-16 Block 15OCU, which added the more reliable F100-PW-220 turbofan, structural strengthening, an enlarged HUD, and provisions for the radar-guided AIM-120 AMRAAM missile.

Don’t worry China blocking at UNSC.
We’ll get them later...
Lot’s of work to be done, both in infrastructure and economy.

Edit: only immediate outcome I wish will happen from this is that, Americans realising that their own media is not fully in their control.

India Today, Not going to Link there

Outraged over China blocking for the fourth time a move to designate JeM chief Masood Azhar a global terrorist, the United States has warned that they "may be forced to pursue other actions" at the Security Council if Beijing continued with this policy.

"If China is serious about these goals, it should not protect terrorists from Pakistan or any other country from being held accountable to the Council. If China continues to block this designation, responsible member states may be forced to pursue other actions at the Security Council. It shouldn't have to come to that," a US diplomat said.

The diplomat spoke on condition of anonymity to give a sense of the feeling of other members of the Security Council after China blocked the move to designate Azhar a global terrorist. This is the fourth time that China has placed a hold on this listing.

"This is the fourth time that China has placed a hold on this listing. China should not prevent the Committee from doing the job the Security Council has entrusted it to do," another security council diplomat told PTI.

Claiming that China has been inconsistent with combating terror, the US diplomat said, "Pakistan has often depended on China to protect it from the listing of Pakistan-based terrorist groups and individuals in the UN 1267 sanctions committee."

A US diplomat in the United Nations Security Council said, "The case for designating Masood Azhar, the leader of a group the UN already calls an al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist organisation, is undeniable. China should not prevent the committee from doing the job the Security Council has entrusted it to do."

Saying China may face action from UNSC member states, the American diplomat said, "China's move to hold the listing is inconsistent with its own stated goals of combating terrorism and furthering regional stability in South Asia."

Member state can bomb pakistan wholesale to 72 whores if it deemed fit to counter terrorism as china is NOT allowing UNSC to do its job.

China is very scared of pakis and they are weak to fight islamic fanatics when it comes to real life actions against them.
