The above poem by IAF clearly shows that IAF wants Revenge
The entire country wants revenge. Most people here will give an arm and a leg to see Masood Azhar's head on a spike. But unless we have clear objectives and a clear will to fight there is no point of war.

A war to "Punish" Pakistan is not a clear objective. When you fight without any objectives, you let the enemy decide the objective of war. Case point - this conflict should have been focussed on terror, instead we devoted ourselves on the F-16. Pakistan encouraged this and the F-16 issue cluttered out the real issue - Terror support from Pakistan

"this isn’t really about Indian elections. It’s about India’s evolution. [Modi] is more confident and more nationalist in character, but so is the Indian public. Perhaps that should be expected from a country of India’s history and proportions now hitting its geopolitical stride"

Our neighbors being all neighborly. The Shahaz ud din nonsense will keep on embarrassing us for a while. This is why restraint is important when we get unverified info.
Kashmir Intel is a banned in India and a known Jihadi. This fool had initially reported 2 Sukhoi's down. You should grow a spine and stop being Embarrassed from known twitter Jihadis.

"Shahaz Ud Din nonsense" as you call it was parroted by some in the media. neither GoI nor the IAF said anything except that Wg Cmdr Abhinandan shot down an F-16.

Most importantly, it's not entirely nonsense. I wold have thought that living in Canada, a country that's host to terrorists from around the world, or having a leader like Trudeau especially those virulently anti-India, would have given you a thicker skin.

People on this forum were linking this Shahaz ud din to Some air marshal Waseem ud din. Its not like the media itself is guilty.

My living in Canada seems to prick you at some primal level. It really amuses me a lot. Really. God bless the ignore feature on this website. Seems like a good time to use it.

Name of this thread should be changed to " Baba Ardhsanyasi's Musings".......
He seems to have an inner line - atleast during the initial days it seemed so. But most of his recent posts are his own opinions.

He did - and he corrected himself pretty quick. Handles like F.Jeffrey and Kashmir intel are openly biased but they offer a good source of Info on the other side. Hell Jeffrey admitted to his bias himself in a tweet.

Point is - there is scope for improvement on our side as well.

Though we have several million Indo-Americans but yet most newspapers from NYT to Washington Post are pro pak as there are many working for them in the editorial department etc. Even Wikipedia's honcho who is an editor there and solely looks after the veracity, accuracy and authenticity of the articles published by them is a Pakistani!! So what do you expect?

This speaks volumes of our poor PR. The Pakis are far far ahead of us in the propaganda war. Even Planet Labs the firm that worked with ISRO to launch 103 micro satellites fell for Paki propaganda and showed the wrong place that the Pakis had published concluding that no damage was done!

When are we going to wake up?
While most of what u said is true, Planet labs had nothing to do with the misleading news reports. Anyone with a computer and Internet can access any part of the globe from Planet Labs - much like Google Earth.

Recently a few months back..china has shown the entire PoK as part of India.
Well!!! Looks like a lot more than just what meets the eye
That was only to show its annoyance with Pak after the Chinese embassy bombing.

Chinese maps have zero value. They use them to convey intent. If they want to make Pak sweat a little they will show Balochistan in a different shade. Once Pakistan agrees to blow them again, the map will be corrected.

Gonna run out of weed in another day or so.
Baba posted another cryptic message. Whoever he is - he likes the attention.

In one message he says he is going to the Northern Mountains (read Kashmir)
In a followup message he says 16 hours to go.
