We should be taking the revenge for granade attack at Jammu bus stand yesterday. For every terrorist attacks in India, Pakistan should be made to pay the cost only then these terrorist attacks would stop. It may be a dry run by Pakistan to see Indian response after terrorist attack yesterday. If we don't hit Pakistan then these attacks may continue in future & Pakistan will continue to fuel them.

listening to former NSA Shiv Shankar Menon is so frustrating. its criminal that such people were formulating policy for India during the UPA. he believes that in the last 4 years, we have re-hyphenated ourselves with pakistan and given them the initiative, become predictable in our approach and made ourself the object of other people's policy. this chewt would rather for us to not respond to attacks like Uri and Pulwama like his master MMS did when 2006 train blasts or 26/11 attacks took place. its not surprising that he himself is grandson of a Congressman. these people are the scum of the earth!

Legally speaking, he can even unload India's entire nuclear arsenal on Pakistan.

One does not become a caretaker PM when model code of conduct is in effect. PM remains a full-fledged PM till current Lok Sabha superannuates (on 25th May). There are only restrictions on certain policy-making, but national security is out of its scope.

However, let's say we're at war, and Election Commission tells the President that General Elections cannot be executed. In that case, President declares a state of Emergency, and appoints a caretaker PM to govern seamlessly after Lok Sabha superannuates, for the specific task of tiding over the emergency; whilst the country's day-to-day governance is in the hands of the Executive/bureaucracy (i.e. President's rule).

President has other fascinating powers such as appointing a Field Marshal.

Like I said last week, pakis will retest the entire spectrum. From grenade blasts to crpf posts attack to shooting at secure forces busses to military camp attack etc etc...

Default mode of pakis is provocation, so they can use it as a recruitment tool...

Infact by the type of attacks that have not happened or thwarted, we should be able to judge how much better the current security situation is.
