If we launch punitive airstrikes into the Baltistan, it will take a while for them to get reinforcements. JF-17 can't hold off a strike package made up of MiG-29s and R-77. All that the pakis really managed is to put India on its toes and thwart any infil movement.

Because there have been build-ups in the past.

Indian strategy is to absorb a legit blow then use that as justification to light up the entire front, from Sir Creek to Baltistan.
