The mods on world news are anti India. If you post in defence of India, your account is likely to get banned. We need bots to upvote/downvote en mass.
Our only obstacle is the main demographic on Reddit are white male engineers i.e. the ones outcompeted by Indian immigrants.
Perception management, we are really bad at it. If we can't uplift our country's image, then we can atleast do damage to our enemy nations. But we don't. We are still learning how to properly handle Pak and anti India propaganda. Most of our insults on SM are crude and ineffective. Unlike Russia and China, we want to be seen as Secular, socialist, responsible and a benevolent nation. Unlike, Russia and China, we don't control our media and tolerate anti nationalism. Unlike them, we don't use our media as a weapon against others. They can curb their internal resistance easily, we can't. We are open to criticism and ridicule from outside as well as inside, they don't tolerate it. There's lot of difference between us and them.
