By striking i meant in covert ways not a full blown war that's not possible
Covert strikes carry 0 deterrent value, you could have bombed the Balakot camp then and there by placing RDX by the R&AW agent who took the pics of the inside of camp used in the dossier. But you did airstrikes and now porkies have not done a single fidayeen attack in 2.5 years.

Correction they attempted multiple pathankot type attacks we just foiled them in time.

Balakot at the end of the day was a knee jerk reaction to appese the public. It barely made any difference on the ground.

The irony of the Indian strategy for Afghanistan is that with the US withdrawal, we will also be packing up. India should have taken the responsibility of training the ANA, provided them with missiles, drones, and commondo training for special ops. That would have ensured it's long-term foot print.

Anyways, Shouldn't there be any thread on Afghanistan??
Without a direct land route.. There is only so much "any" country can do in Afghanistan.. Also, even India is short on drones.. :)

There is an old proverb they believe in - You have the clock, we have the time.

How do you act and against whom? Would be childish to move in. We have our leverage in Afghanistan. We will use them when we see a need to.

Relax. Let's not start wetting our pants.
Our leverage in afganistan will be non existent in the case of a full taliban rule but I do agree with your other points of not intervening due to the lack of a land border and proper targets.

Are Americans so coward i mean fuck biden we can cope but afghans will be destroyed completely
Why should America bother?

They should never have been there in the first place. They should have quietly killed or captured Osama and ended the GWOT.

If they were serious about the GWOT, they would not have toppled regimes in North Africa, helped create ISIS, create the Syrian crisis and many many more instances where US administration was in a direct conflict with its own policies which resulted in deaths of American soldiers.

Did US forces and its coalition partners have a mandate in Iraq or Afghanistan? No. Bomb them sky high, then rebuild and try to win trust. Then arm one group, arm another and quietly leave the country. :pound:

How can you bring peace to Afghanistan when the most primitive, bloodthirsty tribe of Pashtuns is split between two countries, Pakistan and Afghanistan?

There is little hope for the region as long as Pakistan has some leverage over Pashtun groups, Taliban in particular.

If the shiet escalates nobody will have any leverage in afghan civil war. Then it totally depends on your capacity to recruit indoozal mercenaries from random armed groups to do your bidding but there is no guarantee of success in it.

Some people wrongly believe that Bharat has no cards to play. We invested billions in afghanistan is nothing in front of pennies required to own them mercenaries to do our bidding.

Our objectives should be clear and well established that is turning half dyk porkystan into slaughter box.

Doubt there will ever be full Taliban rule. As for India losing its leverage, we have our ways within that land.

No matter how much money you throw at them at the end if the day they are a Islamist org which will butcher hindus the second they get their sights on them.

The reason US used pakistan as a middleman during Soviet days was due to their inability to break through them due to the mazab factor.

At the end of the day religion will always be the trump card when dealing with them.

This is why chinese money and pakistani influence is a strong factor in Afghanistan and the reasons why US is so pissed at them.

Anyways the next week will be very crucial for us if the north falls to the taliban or the ANA loses the battle in Helmand against them the govt should order a airlift to get our people out without a second thought.

The last thing we want is a hostage situation or a massacre of hindus in that area.

Spying also involves creating fake profiling, if he rose to high ranks and served his motherland means he has earned the trust.

you don’t doubt his motives.

why are people discussing Indian Intel agencies based on some imaginary theories and false narratives?

That is why CAA was pushed way back in 2019 keeping in view the likely influx of non muslim refugees, particularly Sikhs and Hindus.
