1. Right before Alaska Summit between China and US, China suddenly invites Russia foreign minister for a meeting next week.. China is expecting a very tough meeting with US.
2. Naravane after meeting Japan Army Chief yesterday, meets South korea army chief today.. This after US South Korea, visit, and right before US China Alaska summit..
Also, I see AK 203 deal, ka-226 helicopter deal, mig- 29 deal.. not moving..

So, Is this the dawn of new Cold war.. with US+Allies+India against China+Russia..?

I still don't get why Indians need to be educated about these points again and again, nvm, one of the factors I forgot to mention was Afghanistan.
China is the largest investor in Afghanistan, India is the largest humanitarian aid provider in Afghanistan (not remember exact number), Pakistan has influence with taliban there. USA right now wants a desperate win there but they can't leave out Afghanistan with a power vacuum cuz that would mean declaring Chinese win over that land, considering how minerally rich Afghanistan is, they are worth billions(trillions) a deal which vast manufacturing base and the unparalleled hunger for resources in case of Chinese manufacturing industry would not like to let go off.
China through pakis can proly create a hold on Afghanistan in that case USA would like someone to keep Pakis in check while focusing themselves on china and taliban that's where India comes in, they need both of us. India is also a beneficial partner in IOR region, more than Afghanistan so there's that. They would love to keep pakis and India to each others neck so that they we keep looking on the third shoulder to make a call for us while using us simultaneously to keep their influence intact. Does this make sense?

China's definitely the "other side" but Russia... Well... We all know Russia will face border encroachments anyhow. China won't stop with India or the CIS states.

Only in India do people get bombed, gunned down on the streets, made to run from their own homes, die at the hands of foreigners and not riot against the government for not protecting them on their homeland. Its not that easy for us to operate from Farkhor cuz we are a signatory of CSTO.

following ever peace process/talks there has been a big terror attack, with no de-induction of troops from the forward areas a big terror attack in the mainland coupled with swift manoeuvre along the LAC might be just the thing the Pakis and Chinks might be looking for, hope the establishment takes note and prepares adequately, the 2.5 front is still on make no mistake.

South korea is the biggest wild card here. They are actively courting the chinese and are have left the intelligence pact with Japan.

They withdrew from deplying thaad after chinese economic measures as they are very dependent on them but all these are small indicators.
