Balochistan's independence might just be in UAE/Saudi interests. Aryan_warlord had a good thread on twitter, though unable to find it. An independent Balochistan might act as a counterbalance near the Strait of Hormuz against Iran. However, unaware if that is the particular reason why the UAE Pulis Chief put that out. UAE Police has historically had an anti-Pak stance. Even 2 years back, the previous chief had compared the "disciplined Indians" to "filthy Pakistanis", and had asked UAE firms to not hire Pakis and instead hire Indians. Nonetheless, a very interesting development to say the least.
