growth with US aid, and Pakistan is considered as asian tiger with this growth based on US aid.
and you are supporting it.
Great !
How about looking at their numbers dispassionately and cut the sarcasm?
Aid alone cannot account for double digit growth rate, which Pakistan had for at least a couple of years in that period. Averaging 7% growth for the decade and even higher in the 70s. Do you think US aid stopped after 1980 which is why Pakistan slid and continues to slide now? Why is it so hard to admit that Pakistan was on the right track before doubling down on becoming Taliban light in the 80s? They were doing something right.

also do you think India did not receive similar aid? US and USSR were competing to gain influence in India via aid. India was actually one of the largest recepient of US aid during the 1960s.

From this 1988 nyt article:
www.nytimes.com
"A little more than two decades ago, the United States was India's biggest and most influential foreign aid partner, proudly helping to construct power plants, factories, university campuses and other symbols of modernization in the world's most populous democracy."
And this what we managed with that:

How was India merely managing ~3% growths while Pakistan doing so much better?
