Security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in Kwarigam, Ranipora area of the South Kashmir district following inputs about the presence of terrorists there, a police official said.

When you're consistently fed a specific line of thinking, especially in later teen and early twenties, when there is an ideological vaccum, you probably cannot think anything beyond that Line of thinking

Actually not true. India had used US help to allow for the plane to land in the UAE and also get permission for another aircraft with NSG commandos to land there and to conduct an operation if necessary. UAE authorities were spooked when a dead body of the passenger killed was offloaded there and with the terrorists threatening more deaths, they allowed the plane to leave before the NSG got there.

Those things do not required clearances from White House or top office. Those could have easily done by on ground civil aviation people.
