what else can Bhutan do ? , will India fight the Chinese for bhutanese land ?

we cant even protect our shit .
We are le net security provider in indian ocean region 🤡.
I agree with this argument, but then again if Bhutan goes “sb changa si”, then we can‘t say, “sb changa na si” back to them.

Its like, you are getting robbed at gunpoint but you also deny being robbed, saying it is a minor misunderstanding between you and the thief.
So as a police if you forcefully try to help, you will cry “police brutality” and “abuse of power”. Now you are the one in court trying to justify your moves.

Looks like Bhutan is getting into Chinese orbit, very dangerous for chickens neck. They also started charging visiting fees for Indian tourists. Earlier Indian tourists were exempt.

Same story with myanmar. Decided to let it fall to China under US pressure to isolate it. Need to start getting Myanmar, Bhutan, and Vietnam on your side to counter 🇨🇳. These regional powers are better than overseas powers

Well for starters, stop seeing this as some kind of Chinese masterstroke.

Chinese objective initially was to grab territory and strengthen their positions in Ladakh, and do this while India was (supposedly) devastated by COVID.

They thought they will face no resistance like when they made the road till F4 during Kargil.

Now, since we retaliated, the next thing was to save face and hold as many areas as long as possible.
For the areas which they are 100% sure we can’t take back forcefully (DBO, Depsang), they won’t compromise.
I think they infiltrated during the winter time, where both sides are supposed to have vacated the area.

That's a cop out - it really does not matter, Bhutan is practically our protectorate.
If you really want to use a metaphor - say your neighbour comes and trashes your son right in front of your eyes. But you don't go to help because your son didn't scream out "Dadieee Heeeelp!".

No, this was not another Kargil, we were not caught sleeping. They ingressed in front of our eyes, ITBP (even Army) troops were present right at most spots when they wrestled the controls of forward areas.

This started from early May to June, and small adjustments even in July.

By late Aug (Operation Snow Leopard), we re-organized, assessed the level of threat, prepared ourselves and struck them back.

I will tell you an interesting thing, there is no agreement that says we are responsible for their defense.

According to article 2, India & Bhutan will consult each other for issues pertaining to national interest, but do not chalks out any "agreement" that we are their army.

Moreover, Bhutan being the ignorant nation of peace fools devoid of reality, actually resented Indian intervention during the 2017-Doklam crisis, as they interpreted it as India trying to meddle in Bhutan's internal matters.

Bhutan is very sensitive about its non-relations with China, more so after Doklam. In their conversations with Beijing, Thimphu is loath to discussing its defence and security relations with New Delhi. It probably tells China that the Indian Army has a role limited to training of the RBA, nothing less, nothing more. In 2018, after 24 rounds of border talks – three more than India’s with China – younger Bhutanese want their border dispute with China settled, unaware that it is entwined with the India-China border dispute. The Doklam plateau is the bone of contention

Bhutan is basically an ostrich burying its head in the mud trying to escape the reality of China slowly gnawing at their country.
Elitists and Chinese-paid shills of Bhutan see themselves as some first-world country and they live in their own Switzerland utopia.

We can only help them if they ask for help, hell, don't ask us, make some noise at the world forum at least, call out Chinese aggression, and let the world know of encroachments.

Well, nothing, you can't help someone who doesn't want any help.

Hence, I advocate China pulls Poland on Bhutan, and we will snatch the remaining parts.

Did we lose or gain anything?

Well, the CCP can creep into Bhtutan as much & close to they want.

But if they use these position to fire or direct attacks against us, i am assuming that we will forget it is Bhutan & take action on their soil.

what are we going to do if they ask us for help ? , they know very well we are useless.

the doklam stand off ended with both india and china getting something and bhutan losing land .

if bhutan was siding with China , jahmpheri ridge would have chinese posts by now .
