How will fighting a mountain war against India prepare Chinese PLA to face US Naval might ? Also, Taiwan invasion will be all about large amphibious operations like Operation Overlord..

War against India will not be a practice for Taiwan. It will happen only if China thinks it is easier to take on India and capture Territory, than invade Taiwan, and risk catastrophe in case of a full on US intervention..
