There will peaks and lows with back and forth Chinese and Indian reaction but it will end eventually given Chinese will be forced to defend PLA installations and other assets which Pakistani terrorists may target in future. Every loss incurred must be accounted and equal loss must be imposed back on China of same quantity and quality.

They have India covered from East and West thru Pakistan. India does not have the same leverage.
