Agreed, before every meet, chicoms like to put themselves in a position of strength.

They'll do something stupid. Indian troops should be ready to pump some lead. China still doesn't want the situation to enter the conventional domain, and is still betting on an elaborate gamble (such as getting India to withdraw from the finger area in exchange for some worthless Afghan ore and safe passage through Taliban-controlled territory). So India can get away with some point-and-click to defend its positions.

I have feeling that China might do a two front skirmish like one in Ladakh and one in Arunachal and Paxitan might do shelling on it's front to keep India busy

I m seeing it and assessing it to be strongly tonight.

As Chinese govt is just a face of CCP. And a commie doesn't give a fcuk about rules and regulations. They just want what they perceive as theirs when they feel they can have it. CCP has its 100th anniversary next year. And war is written on wall no matter what daily up and down goes. Remember 100th anniversary. This is all done for that.

Not likely to happen. Airdrop requires a large safe LZ which is first secured by pathfinders. Any approaching large fleet of PLAAF transport planes will be picked up by IAF CAP and dissuaded. Even Chinese are not stupid enough to attempt something like this without fighter escorts. Its not possible without drawing Indian attention.

They may use XV Airborne of the PLAAF during wartime though. Is there any OSINT regarding the acclimatization status of XV Airborne?
