Xi is desperately looking for a military victory so he can consolidate his political outlook before the 5th CCP plenary session in October 2020, which will be vital for him to make a case to become dear leader forever, something ambitious leaders in CCP are absolutely dreading. Earlier he thought he'll use COVID as a continuity excuse, but by Feb-March, he realized it won't cut ice with CCP brass. Now he wants to pull off purges on the back of a military victory.

The US already cucked his plans to make a move on Taiwan, with 50+ warships, 3~4 CBGs, and over 500 combat aircraft swarming SCS. He can't pick on smaller countries like Vietnam, and expect the CCP to be impressed. So his only other option was an easy military victory over India, with the calculation being that India's "strategic autonomy NAMardgi" will keep western intervention away, and India will bend over after it sees 50,000+ troops and mechanized formations at its doorstep.

Boy was Xi wrong. The lack of an easy military victory against a sizable opponent will be perceived by CCP as a failure of Xi, which will make him undeserving of becoming dear leader. There will be political upheaval. The CCP will get his head for this.

His calculations were correct historically .. more so with the CCP MOU with congress but he discounted modi and BJP .....his advisors need to be culled in full public view ...

I think Xi already is.. trying to convince Russia.. to convince India to go back.. we need to give Natasha a little spanking.. and tell not to overestimate Russia's leverage..
Side effects of pro active diplomacy. At times countries get into zone where they take things or granted. definitely Natasha needs to be woken up.

Natasha did report sick at South Block on Saturday morning.
Said she had developed a strange condition called 'crimson buns' and was feeling quite sore.

around 400 terrorists are currently assembled at various launch pads near LoC and Pakistan Army's SSG has been tasked to help these terrorists cross the LoC.

Man they are juicy targets. Don't be surprised if LOC remains hot every day.
RR ibecame masters of setting up ambushes with and so are CRPF

That Raja Dahir was clueless.. Qasim with a little army was able to defeat him with substantial local support. He could've ended his campaign in Makran but dude was busy in his posh Mahal.

Pakis tried that strategy in 65 but failed. Now they've adopted this proxy war.. Thousand cut strategy. Qasim's case was full fledged invasion.
Now that vegeterian friendly country is forced to come on salami diet, some salami on western border would be inevitable. We got the taste of it.....I actually mean sashimi..

Chinese foreign minister, Wang Yi tried "Wolf Diplomacy" and got back slapped on live TV.

 Are these assholes hiding some kind of death ray ? , why are they provoking everyone.

Speaking to German reporters, Wang lashed out at the president of the Czech Senate, Milos Vystrcil, who had taken a delegation to visit Taiwan, which China considers part of its territory

Vystrcil would “pay a heavy price,” threatened Wang, fuming that the Czech’s “betrayal” made him “an enemy of 1.4 billion Chinese people.”

Standing next to Wang at their joint press conference, Maas reminded his visitor that “we as Europeans act in close cooperation” and demand respect, and that “threats don’t fit in here.”

:hmm: It will be a miracle if 10 Sept meeting leads to deescalation .

That asshole Wang Yi just pissed off EU recently. He will probably threaten Jaishankar with war if we dont withdraw unilaterally.

1. Status quo as of April wrt to China, India to stay on its 39 peaks
2. India should not withdraw any of the economic decoupling steps taken
3. No compromise on Quad

And yes, pre requsite of the metting would be the return of the kidnapped Indian citizens by CCP kutta bhojak thugs.
