They make MREs for such climate. Russia and Canada have troops deployed in the Arctic region and weather is quite similar to Siachen.

Melcchas produces 35 %of oil from the Xian Jing and imports 20 percent from Russia. The rest 55 % is imported mainly from the Middle East. The blocking of the Malacca strait and the airstrikes over the Xian Jing will create a oil depletion for the Melcchas.

Also now MREs are available on Amazon.in as well, for high altitude trekkers.

Back in the day had to lug close to 35 kgs of rations, cooking utensils, stove and kerosene when trekking in Uttarakhand...not including the camping equipment for a 10 day stay at altitude.
