Post Imperial China is boring, just concrete end less streets and roads vs Japan vs Taiwan. I have travelled extensively in China, Japan and Taiwan and there is no comparison. Chinese people are actually friendly though....

India's forex reserves cover as much of our imports, as China's forex reserves covers theirs... PPP is highly subjective. Lets talk about nominal GDP. China is the second largest economy and is a powerful country.. But Geography dictates destiny in a very powerful way.. Without winning Taiwan China is a dead duck during any war with the US. The first and second island Chains will tie china up and close on it like a vice.. The US and Japanese navies can ensure that no chinese vessel either commerical or military will come out of the first island chain..
Just dumping a lot of mines in the various straits and gaps of islands is enough to choke Chinese economy and military during a war..
