Budget and equipment are certainly a factor but fighting is a frame of mind, its not for everyone. Houthis, Afghans can fight with sticks and stones against full armies. China has no recent history of persisting in a fight efficiently. They always lose disproportionate amount of people in a given battle vs smaller enemy. More like pyrrihic victories

Lead to Chicken neck corridor is also a big Vulnerability for the chinese since 8 out of 10 Hills are being occupied by IA as per ex-commander Anbu's claim and any offensive action by Chinese will be a deadly price for the Chinese... they're well behind india in that sector, that's the reason previously they were concentrating on developing Roads and Helipads there.

Chicken neck is not a real issue....India can cross thru Banglaland with or without their consent if necessary. China does not have that many capable aircraft that can be fielded and what would be their targets? They wont have fuel to come too deep into India and go back. Even 30 aircraft is a concern but primarily if they have to divert from western command then threat multiplies with pakis joining.....India need to put nuclear reaction loud and clear to pakis once fireworks start with China.

It is not about Australian might. Australia is extremely loyal to America, and is the anchor of the american defence of the second island chain.. It was during the defence of the second island chain, that the tide turned against the japanese during world war 2.. in the battle of the coral sea and battle of Midway. Australia is a force multiplier, the kind of Intel they will provide is going to be worth diamonds, not to mention they will stretch Chinese out.
