Certain hill districts on our northern borders are abuzz with activity.
Ye kaisa type ka gun hai?

Dekho koth se kya kya nikal ke aata hai.

Thing is the area is highly sensitive.. There are reports of Heavy Chinese deployment beyond Karakaoram. I guess Panag pointed out that Karakaoram pass is wide enough to move Artillery & mechanized infantry as well. So it's likely going to be two front attack there. So there is a mechanical brigade sitting at Qizil langar & the other one may come through Karakoram.
That means DBO is much much similar to what Akhnoor is to IA. It will be one bloody encounter.
Yes, in fact I believe apart from some Uttrakhand/Himachal remote border where we have less presence and infrastructure, DBO is a very ripe target for the Chinese to snatch.

A 3-pronged attack on DBO can be very hard to defend, and it will also allow them to attack Siachen in the next step.

How does SAM coverage work in these areas?

Is it ground based SAMs or will have to depend on AAMs?

Unlike Kargil, there wonā€™t be self imposed restrictions on using airforce & missiles this time, if and when s__t hits the fan.
are you saying that shit hasn't hit the fan already?:dude:

Was DBO always this vulnerable or it has become recently due to their action in May/June ?

Yes it will be very very hard to defend & will require massive air support as well. Even a stalemate there will be a victory for us.
I don't think Chinese can dislodge us from heights in southern Pangong so whatever they may throw at us.
