A very long time back there was one Def Secy who asked the briefing Army Officer - "so you have FLIR there?" All others looked at him and asked what is that? The neck of the Def Secy expanded in importance and he kept quiet, Such is the atmosphere.

CSG guys are top-notch bureaucrats - usually Secys and our top Jassos honchos who arrive at a recommendation for a given situation. The working handles are a Colonel, a Lt Col from Army and Dir China in MEA. But ultimate decisions rest with the Govt ( here again MEA plays their good or dirty role)...

The group, unfortunately, suffers from inadequate and less than requisite Secreterail and research support, It maybe because of that the MEA has gone in for an MEA funded institution.. but a lot of scope exists to provide expert support to CSG.

If war breaks out we should not over analyze things that we are not sure about and get into conspiracy mode. This forum is a great tool for us Indians to spread "our narrative" and is read by Chinese and there boy toy bitches in Pakistan. We should carry forward the narrative of armed forces and GOI at all costs.

This does not mean we should stop other users from posting stuff that is not as per our thinking. Other wise we would end up creating an echo chamber for ourselves and become PDF lite.
