50 lakh armed men in army and paramilitary and reserve. 4 lakh already acclimated for lac compared to 1.5 lac of china total in xinjiang an tibet ( area bigger than India)

4000+ tanks ( more than china) , 3000+ artillery (equal to china ).

4th largest air Force in world. With 600+ operational jets ( china can't even field 200 in tibet).

5 th largest navy blocking Malacca which Chinese can't stop .

The only necessity is to not hold back .
stop fixating with these rankings,it's highly deceptive.

first thing that comes to mind, can India pull back all soldiers, paramilitaries and weaponries from western theater, north east counter insurgency and anti maoist operations ? Doing so is suicidal.
and how long India will be able to blockade Malacca straight ?......given the sheer numerical and technical superiority of the PLAAN ?

But the bottomline is China will never go for a conventional war, this is an era of asymmetric warfare,if the relationship deteriorates,it will return back to what it always did in the past,ie,sponsor insurgency in N.E and create political instability so that Indian military simply gets bogged down with internal conflicts.

Until and unless India fixes the basics(builds an economic parity with a strong industrial base)these quick fix measures like positioning rafales and other imported weapons is simply useless.

India is just so heavily reliant on China,so much so that they can not only harm us economically but can completely put our economy to a grinding halt, if they wish to do so.

Biden can make all the noises about Kashmir to get Muslim votes, the fact remains that America's strategic community is set on a collision course with China. And primary reason is China's OBOR. Second reason is South China sea.

India's importance is increasing by the day as there is nobody else in Asia to counter China.

Few correction on your post -

Numerically PLAN may have the numbers , none of that is battle proven. So chances that they are typical chinese maal are not far fetched. They do nothing than helping in spreading propaganda and posturing . So technologically, they are not superior to us or we do not know at the moment although chances are we can bang them at will. All PLAN Submarines are regularly tracked by us and followed...

Second part- i still never understood how can china bring our economy to grounding halt... they can wish moon but bat munchers get nothing ... Infact they need to start fending for themselves the way things are going......

You don't need a lot of numbers to blockade the straits.
PLAAN is too far away & will be too stretched to mount any kind of attack to remove the blockade.

especially with all other countries in SCS waiting for just this move to make their own moves.
Even if the above does not happen, there is realistically no way for PLAAN to move the numbers needed to take on IN...
Just too far...

if only China had not pissed off everyone and their mothers, they might have gotten help to move PLAAN.

Imagine PLAAN moving that kind of assets crossing all those countries which are already under tension with China - not going to end well...

It does not matter if India can blockade strait of Malacca. It does not matter if India has 20% of tanks of what China has.

A India which is determined can make China's existence in Tibet and Xinxiang untenable.

Very true,
Right now, all their concentration is on their eastern border & not west.

Reason for it is that they know India will not attack.
If we change stance and start doing reverse salami slicing, it would be interesting to see how they will react & still be able to maintain their presence on their eastern border.

We shouldn't be believing US also
US&CHINA are the sides of same coin.

China has always made anti-India decisions at UN.

US is secretly making India-China fight and also making India at check via proxy war in Kashmir,Pakistan.

China is a threat for some time, but US will always be a threat Indirectly to India.
We should see moves of the US carefully.

China should be destroyed asap but so is the US

Because US&China were allies too just few decades ago.

But the growth of China started hurting US's superpower status.
Same could happen with India
So we should play double game.
West and China both don't want India to progress

What a load of crap.

No one forced China to come into our territory and occupy our lands, either in 62 or in 67 or numerous times after that.
No one forced China to give Nuke tech to Pakis, Support them for decades to wage war against India.
China has territorial ambitions on India - US does not.
China overtly supports our enemies - US does not.
China opposes every move beneficial to us, in all global bodies - US does not.
China grooms commies, Congress, Academia & journalists to destroy us - US does it but only to benifit itself not to destroy us

It's pathetic to even compare China and USA in terms who our friends are, when it's absolutely crystal clear seeing their actions.

CHINA BEHAVES LIKE OUR EMEMY - because it is our enemy.
USA BEHAVES LIKE OUR FRIEND - because our objectives match.

Absolutely correct. It doesn't matter whether the lobby of pro-India is weak or not in White House.

It also doesn't matter how much secular or Hindu-phobic liberals are in Capitol building.

The thing that matters is that US is bound for a collision course with China. And our Trump bhau and Xitler has only accelerated the process by their actions in the recent times.

Well then will India get criticism about its actions? Yes!! absolutely. For Kashmir, for CAA, for NRC and other what nots.

But US has no other choice. It has to stand with India. BECAUSE all these issues with India are puny w.r.t CHINA. :troll: :megusta::truestory:

As a riposte to India's banning of Chinese trade and investments..........

China eyes 400 billion dollar deal with Iran, may cloud India’s Chabahar port prospects

While philosophers may argue money doesn’t buy everything, for China, other than PR which can hide its misdeeds of unleashing deadly virus on the world, it also seems to have now bought ‘strategic relations’ with India’s ally Iran. The Communist government in China is all set to sign a 25-year USD 400 billion ‘economic and strategic partnership’ deal with Iran.

This strategic deal will open Iran’s door for China across the Iranian economy. From banking to telecommunication to ports and railways – China will be able to expand its net in Iranian economy across sectors. Over a dozen projects in Iran are expected to go to Chinese companies. In return, China is hoping for cheaper, steady oil supply from Iran at a heavily discounted rate for quarter of a century.

Further, Iran and China will undertake joint military training and exercises, research and weapon development as well as share intelligence inputs. With this, China may overshadow India’s relationship with Iran. This could cloud India’s prospects at Chabahar port, which was seen as one of India’s biggest strategic moves to counter China-Pakistan’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

So now, what of Chabahar Port that India has invested in? That's the million dollar question. Are we seeing a new strategic and economic alliance between China - Pak - Iran? Bad news for India. The wily Chinese are buying off the Iranians with hard cash and goodies like they've done for countless others.

Santa Claus is coming around, riding on his sleigh! And all we can say is, jingle bells!!

However, Iranian protesters in London gathered outside the Chinese embassy yesterday and stated, "China has a secret deal with the regime in Tehran… We are here to denounce the agreement with Communist China… By doing such deals, China will occupy our sovereign part… They will bring their own manpower and labour and utilise our cheap labour market in their favour… China has done harm to India. We are in solidarity with the Indians in this respect. “

But the Iranian regime has a vice-like grip on the people and will most likely go ahead with the deal come what may.

P.S. China's debt - $5.2 trillion and their GDP is in the negative and yet investments by the Chinese are steaming ahead!

lol. will you please educate me a bit regarding how a mere $80/90 billion trade can bring a $3 trillion economy to a grinding halt?

Boss disengagement from Iran is two year old news. Our media is jumping on it now.

China is outspending everybody to buy influence. So India suffers but India is not the only one to suffer.

Things are about to escalate between USA and Iran. Won't help us being there in Iran as ports are the first one to go up in smoke.
