Increase pass marks to 50 and see all of them fail.
Bhai this JNU is cursed institute. First It is very difficult to get admission in JNU. One who gets admission there ,can get very good marks. They are intelligent people but chose wrong side. One of my seedha sadha friend taken admission there, he always got top rank in school and college. We were sanghi people but after joining JNU he became dhapli gamcha man and commie. Some ghutti they have which they use to brainwash common people 50 marks doesn't matter to them, they can even secure 70.

Good! The Chinese are gonna go berserk over this. We have been dithering too long on including Australia in the Quad to pander to Chinese wishes but not anymore. We seem to have grown a pair! So what we've done is to show the middle finger to Xi and his cohorts. Next is to open an embassy in Taiwan and later declare Tibet as illegally occupied by the CPC. That would be when we can say that Modi really has a 56 incher! :cool3:
Nothing to do with pandering to chinese wishes.

Australia has not been friendly to India for long and has been seduced by easy chinese money.

Why would India sacrifice its relationships if Aus or US is going to play double games. Only when commitment is clear, can India go ahead.

That is due to pressure from teachers. If you are right leaning, they are looked down in JNU and face difficulty in academics

On twitter, some time back, i was able to find that JNU has some nice science departments that do some research like Dr. Anand Ranganathan (Malaria). But the news of that get noised out by the AISA screeching. In fact AISA was once blocking these research during the anti CAA riots.

Seedha-Saadha or Seedhi-Saadhi generally means kids who were plain studious, didn't/hardly dated, no sex, no drugs, little or no alcohol.

The uncles and aunties of JNU are extremely good at profiling. Give them credit where it is due. Bhenchod gate se pehchan lete hain. Then they do match fixing of the new boy/girl with someone of their batch or a senior. It is only downhill from there on. While the kids do well academically, they are FUBAR by the time they graduate.

My classmate joined JNU. Typical UC Hindu, naive, studious and decent at sports but with plenty of chul in gaand. Joins JNU, gets sucked into the Leftist camp, starts doing drugs, alcohol, making out in the open after dark. Course gets over. Comes back home, joins a topnotch IT company in Bangalore, all is well for the first few months, then gets introduced to a new 'female' interest who is ex-JNU but doing jholagiri as most of these jholachaaps are non STEM and their daflis, utopian world view and art-craft have little or no value in the real world so she snares the chutiya, he starts skipping work for weeks, joins the bimbo in visiting tribal villages, teaches Marxism and Physics to kids who don't know what to make of the two.
Chap finally gets benched and eventually fired. Woman dumps him as who needs a out of job techie with fast dwindling savings. Chap boards a train and goes home. Breaks down in front of his parents, they knock some sense into him, he eventually hooks up with another girl, parents approve, the two get married and leave the country for higher studies. He is one of the top guys in AI-ML for a major giant now.

There are scores of other stories. JNU uncles and aunties are darned good at profiling and generally survivalist and street smart. Many of these leeches are from broken families and hence have nowhere to go. BC sabki jindagi barbaad kar ke he rahenge and the prime targets are always UC Hindus, Sikhs with military backgrounds(parents) and Kashmiri Muslims. The largely non-aligned, non-partisan KM's are their primary targets, including women who are often hooked on to drugs and sex first before their grooming begins.

The profs are neck deep in this game.

Dont think the hesitancy would have been from Indian side. If we have invited big guns like US and Japan, then including Australia will only make a minor addition to the irritation quotient.

Maybe the hesitancy was from the Australian side because their economy is more dependent on China. Australia is one of the few countries that runs a huge trade surplus with China, see article below
Yep! The trade relationship was a big factor in Australia not keen on joining the Quad. However, China saw the Quad as being against its maritime interests. Beijing did voice concern over its formation and did warn India against it. India as usual then, did not want to ruffle Chinese feathers and so did not stress on the formation of the Quad which included Australia like it has done now as the the geopolitical scene has changed considerably.

There were complaints that Amazon/flipkart vendors were not strictly adhering to COO details & this had created an outrage, good that GOI is listening & following up

The two e-commerce firms have been given 15 days to explain the lapses or action will be taken against them, according to an Oct. 16 letter addressed to the companies from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and seen by Reuters

lol this is nothing, Dell how has "MADE IN INDIA" next to most of their Laptops listed on their website, but this MADE IN INDIA is only in the pictures of the laptop, no where can I find it in text on the site, nor in reviews, and neither can I find a press release stating they are assembling laptops here instead of CBU import from China.
Is there anywhere I can complain about specific sites not following COO rule for listed products?

not just India, nobody wanted to ruffle China’s feathers including US, prior to Chinese virus.

Things have changed now, thanks to CCP’s wolf warrior diplomacy.

Now the question is how long will this phase last, and to what end.

Yup. For every "Bharat tere tukde honge" screaming KM in Delhi, there are at least 7 fence sitters looking the other way. While sympathetic to the cause, they won't wade into any controversy and would be quite content in finishing their course and getting a job somewhere. See, not every KM gets funded directly or indirectly by the Hurriyat or ISI.
Activism grade indoctrination starts at JNU and Delhi for most KM's as they live in largely radicalized minority dominated areas of Delhi.

Really baffling why GoI hasn't initiated a purge of profs and 35 year old PhD "students" living on campus in their urban naxal and jihadi PR factories like JNU, Jadavpur Uni, AMU etc.
It's literally like allowing snake nests in your backyard.
