Exactly, military sanctions are necessary to push India in the right direction.. like the Missile and Aerospace sanctions from US, helped indigenous rocket and missile programs..
One good thing is the Biden administration stopping some military sales to Saudi and UAE..

You must realize that military sanctions by the US are going to hurt us pretty bad. In the worst case, the manufacture of the Tejas is going to come to a grinding halt as the F 404-GE-IN120 jet engines supplied by General Electric that power the Tejas Mk1 and the yet to be built Mk1A would be suspended and land us in a situation that existed after sanctions were imposed on us after the nuke tests resulting in losing a decade in the production schedule of the Tejas.

Then the AMCA would be affected too as the initial production will be fitted with modified GE F414 engines. And I haven't even got started on the spares for the huge amount of American transport aircraft artillery gun systems and so on.

In short, don't even think of American sanctions!

As of now, I think any adventure to grab territory east of LAC or west of LoC will only ignite the 2 front conflict. It will be a costly conflict for India both in men and material if India goes all alone. I don't think any Indian government has the stomach to digest that many casualties. Many governments in the past might have thought about it and must have junked it when expenses of fighting such war to its potential returns were determined. Regardless whatever HM might say, we have to remember that was for domestic consumption only.

According to what rajnath singh our DM said in parliment

The Chinese side will keep its troop presence in the North Bank area to east of Finger 8.Reciprocally, the Indian troops will be based at their permanent base at Dhan Singh Thapa Post near Finger 3.

These are mutual and reciprocal steps and any structures that had been built by both sides since April 2020 in both North and South Bank area will be removed and the landforms will be restored.

It has also been agreed to have a temporary moratorium on military activities by both sides in the North Bank, including patrolling to the traditional areas. Patrolling will be resumed only when both sides reach an agreement in diplomatic and military talks that would be held subsequently.


Hard to believe they will demolish all the crap they build on south bank of spanggur lake as well as F4.

lol , we didnt build much , we have ITBP camp and chusul village nearby and those have been there before April 2020 , so we dont have to torn down anything .

I would be really amazed if they do go through with all of this. A 2021 India - China war seem more possible than this.

Also, CCP cannot patrol beyond F8 due to agreement.
