India is undertaking a rebalance of military forces and fire power to the northern borders with China. The Army is now fine-tuning a proposal for its officers to study Tibetan history, culture and language. The plan is to study it from both sides of the LAC and the international boundary. These are measures being discussed to “counter the propaganda and spread of influence by China”. The Tibetology proposal is now being “further analysed” by the Shimla-based Army Training Command (ARTRAC).

It's been around for 5 decades but this is the latest version . It dosen't offer much of an upgrade from current platforms. Looks like this offer is geared toward Tejas rollout??? And what about S-400 deal ??

Apart from this IA/ITBP should make a permanent presence at Barahoti Plains in central sector. Indian army have long avoided permanent presence here due to Chinese objections. Chinese borders guards love to patrol this place which should be denied once for all.

its better than both su30 and mig 29. however we dont need to buy heavy fighter jet as we alreay have su30 , we just need to upgrade it.

F15 EX is much advanced then Russian counterpart Su30, literally it is bomb truck can carry 16 A2A missiles under a single fighter & fitted with advanced AESA. Its an overkill for any fighter in pak arsenal but much needed to counter PLAAF as China is operating large no of Russian origin fighters. 6 to 8 AMRAAM configuration under single fighter is a devastating fire power

When you have allies in military complex it buys you great leverage.
US is country which give extremely high importance to money. when it affects bottom line and quarter earnings, some lobbyist from Boeing/GE will visit WH and ask Dems to shut up. The Real power in US does not lie in WH but the people who pay those $M donations.

The Chinese have mastered this game so well using Amazon/walmarts and bunch of greedy corporations. Indian politicians are only good at fooling their own people. I see no other way to balance this out other than becoming self reliant. In the meanwhile buy leverage at important places.
