They are still not released.Bowing to chinese pressure, concerned of counter retaliation. Else there isn't need of immediate release without proper introspection

Golgappe khane aaya hoga. They are just picking on us sending one guy
FYI -BREAKING: ONE Chinese PLA soldier captured near Gurung Hill south of Pangong in Chushul sector on Jan 7. He says he had lost his way. Communication established with other side, formalities on to return him at border meeting point today or tomorrow in Chushul.
We shouldn't return him until China allows us to retrieve our merchant navy sailors from that ship off the Chinese coast.
Nice theory..What are the chances that we crossed and brought one back?
We don't need to bring back heads. Bring them here in one piece. Give them chai biskoot, mindfuck these conscripts a little and send them back.Nice theory..
Doubt it though. We are still not there with PLA where we want to cross and collect heads.
A year or so down the line, yeah, of PLA ladyBoys heads would be collected.
I agree. Highly unlikely that we would abduct PLA soldiers.Nice theory..

With China Biden at helm of America and Jinping dictating US policies, there's no chance of that.I agree. Highly unlikely that we would abduct PLA soldiers.
With Pakistan the situation is different.
Reality is there is a power disparity between India and China.
It would be wise to wait for the right time to go on the offensive against China.
Key will be faster economic growth and bridging the gap with China.
Could take at least a decade. Not one year.
The Chinese waited patiently for their economy to get near the US before taking it on.
I believe we will be following a defensive - offensive strategy. Try not to provoke China unnecessarily but retaliate strongly if the first bullet is fired by the Chinese.
An very unlikely scenario is if Washington gives us a blank cheque and assures us total support wherein we can go on the offensive against the Chinese at this point of time.
But why? Hills are a boring place to be in winters. Our boys need football to play withWe don't need to bring back heads. Bring them here in one piece. Give them chai biskoot, mindfuck these conscripts a little and send them back.
Well the fact is that the Chinese are steadily hammering at the lead that the US has got in many economically strategic areas. Like software, the operating system for mobiles, semiconductors, civilian aircraft, defence etc. Huawei has already developed an alternative to the Android os though on a trial basis. 5g is another focus area. The Chinks are building naval ships at a faster pace than the US.With China Biden at helm of America and Jinping dictating US policies, there's no chance of that.
If the latter is true, I guess that one would not just be any average soldier, might as well be a officer, or one of those guys from the CCP who stay with PLA deployed in war zone in order to ensure that they remain loyal to CCP.Well, amid tensed situation at LAC given IA & PLA locked on in a face to face standoff its odd that chinese soldier crossed the border alone. As usual official channel undermining the actual story to avoid further escalation. Either multiple PLA soldiers must be in captivity or IA must have brought one from across LAC for bargaining purpose
