High tech weapons aren't deployed IRL and only exist in jhumlas , GT Articles and propaganda Videos.
Most of this "WE IZ HAVING HI TEK WEAPUNZ N SHEEIT" is intended towards domestic audience, diaspora and low IQ lao wai's who may read/watch their propaganda, to show that they are a SUPAPOWA at-par with America high-tech weaponry and defense industry wise.

Amuricans have some similar weapon where they can disable enemy soldiers without firing a bullet, but it's in R&D and theoretical form afaik.
