dry cleaning/petrol wash for down/synthetic goodies (those are made from feather, mainly from goose down or other feathers or synthetic materials. like sleeping bag, jacket etc). general wash for others.

these are extremely sturdy and durable. for trekkers these will easily last for 7/8/10 years (shoe may be an exception). for Army those should last at least for 5yrs (trying to analyse from their build quality). but I think Army issues new items every year for troops in altitude (though I'm not sure).
+
*please note, synthetic is water resistant. so can be washed normally. but I prefer to dry clean those.

Well bhai log looks like it’s going to be a long winter for both sides. Doesn’t seem like the Chinese have the stomach for escalation. Having said that vigilance is the key.Cant trust the Chinese. Problem is that deployments are going to take a toll on the defence budget. Don’t think the govt has any option but to raise the defence budget in respect to percentage of GDP. 2.5 % would be the minimum required.

Just imagine a Bajaj used to drop a 1000kg bomb somewhere in pak or china.

Just imagine a Taliban type in your mind with that sort of setup refuelling in intervals to reach the target.

That will be true paki version of DeEp StRiKe.
If scooter is punctured they will repair it by themselves as they are professional puncture wala. (Talibani and piggi version for overhauling of bomb dropping platform). :hmm:#Deep imagination.:lawl:

Press Statement on personal attacks in unacceptable language on French President Emmanuel Macron
October 28, 2020

We strongly deplore the personal attacks in unacceptable language on President Emmanuel Macron in violation of the most basic standards of international discourse. We also condemn the brutal terrorist attack that took the life of a French teacher in a gruesome manner that has shocked the world. We offer our condolences to his family and the people of France.

There is no justification for terrorism for any reason or under any circumstance.

How come there are no articles decrying "protectionism" by Xi?
When Modi said two words, "Atmanirbhar Bharat", since then reams are written about how it's protectionism and will take India to the "dark ages"

Well these days, top question on Amazon.in seems to be:-

Lots of stuff like small electronic items (binoculars, circuitry for kids, microscopes etc), laptop/computer accessories, usb toys, fancy stuffs etc not available as Made In India. We need to immediately capture these low end items 🤨

For the start, subsidies and large orders( from govt ) should be provided to our factories to build scale and lower production cost because you know, scale.
Chink widgets are cheap because they are produced at quantities fit for global export, to most G20 countries and maybe more.

MEA had denied that Rajnath Singh had referred to ‘reckless aggression’ from China

Days after a protest by the Indian government, the U.S. State Department agreed to amend its version of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s comments at the “2+2” Indo-U.S. meeting on October 27. According to the original U.S. version, released by both the State Department and the US Department of Defense, Mr. Singh was quoted as saying that India is challenged by “reckless aggression on our northern borders”, in what appeared to be the first reference by an Indian official, in talks with another country, to what the government has so far maintained was a “bilateral issue” with China at the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Jingoistic language is not in tune with it's well established diplomatic processes. Mutual understanding & acceptance of differences in perception are the cornerstones of responsible nations"
