This entire theory was busted by other generals who served in army at 1987 . This was one old mans personal rants against another general .

When the author is Su Si we can take it down with truck load of salt . Always trying to create a nice controversy . Su Si was smartly trying to exploit the current standoff using this example saying if COAS and CDS are not ready to fire shot then Corps commander on location should defy them and do what he feels best .Basically trying to sell his snake oil that their is anger on ground and differences between ground commanders and Top generals , Sadly being a dumb presstitute he could have picked a better topic rather trying to give more weight age to old man rants

Most of them are talking out of their hats.
IB's seasonal patrol (SIB) was Fu***d by the Chinese when they occupied forward slopes or rather a Nullaha edge campsite two seasons earlier than Indian operations were mounted.
Indian counteraction was deliberated but the only thing was that IB and MEA did not know anything about it. One day one battalion fully practiced and rehearsed jut marched up Lungro La and occupied the ridgeline and the Camp site. That is what became an ego issue subsequently and MEA /MoD bureaucracy managed to fill the ears of Rajiv Gandhi. That became a life threat to great Gen Sundarjee.

The occupation of Wangdung had happened under the garb of Exercise CHEQUER BOARD which was a sort of continuation of BRASS TACKS in Eastern Command.

Lt Gen Tich Sharma was indeed in the theatre and was on the target of MEA bureacrcy but could manage to become the COAS because of his strong family ties with the Gandhi family.

It is many years down the line (33 years) and I take that many things could become clearer now to put things in correct perspective..

or maybe it was just a simple plain old earthquake, exaggerated by social media?
Not everything has to be a conspiracy or at max it might have been a sonic boom, earthquake way more likely.

Imaginative mind you have.
If it's an earthquake, then why there was a sonic boom or something like it.

I believe actual reason is ki Shiv ji prakat hue hain India ko help karne ke liye againist chya

Earthquakes do the strangest things, including making lightning spark from ground, and what people are saying as sonic boom might be ground shifting, and yes there are sounds like that during earthquake.

And some IAF guy might be just bored and boomed his Sukhoi, there's literally nothing to suggest a bomb.

Many guys have filled many post of some imaginary eartch quake in Srinagar.

Guys, you all do not know. Srinagar valley was completely filled by water being called as Sati Sar and it was the aboded of a Rakkshasha, That Rakkshasha was killed by Rishi Kasyap and then the Rishi let the water of Sati sar flow out through Jhelum. Sati or Shri are one and the same and you have Srinagar and Kashmir after Rishi Kasyapa.

The spirit of the Rakkshasha keeps rising occasionally which shakes srinanger and makes sounds. That is why valley people are never happy and right thinking people. They have some worm in their minds.
Relax.

The worm introduced by an immutable book.
No this deformity is since ages together when all of them were Hindus... When it was an Era of Kashmiri Shaivism also called Trik Shaivism and one great Tantrik Vishnu Gupta entered a cave with a thousand followers and never came out. Then, later when they became great Vajrayana Buddhist , the Tantrik Buddhism and took Buddhism to Afghanistan and Tibet under Kanishka under great Nagarjuna.

Maybe this agreement provides us a good opportunity - send up troops to some other staging location in North India - so you're technically not sending them to LAC, but they're still within reach in an emergency.

Alternatively, if nothing happens w/ China - they're all still sitting up North, waiting to be redirected towards Pakistan.
I can pretty much guarantee that the Chinese are breaking the agreement already, with a lot more Chinese soldiers headed to LAC to takeover more border locations. I can only hope that the Indian side is not sticking to the agreement. Leave it to the bureaucrats to allow China to dictate the terms of what Indian military is allowed to do.

They are all old men now, they weren’t that always and I think that regardless of our personal like or dislikes, we should treat a former distinguished CoAS with respect due to him. The General has his view, should be easy to figure out since he mentions that there was correspondence which much still be on record. This was official correspondence, not just hearsay which could be dismissed as “he says, he says.”

In any case, Gen V.N.Sharma hailed from an incredibly distinguished military family with one of his brothers also being a Lt.General and the other being Major Somnath Sharma, India’s first Param Vir Chakra recipient for his actions at the battle of Badgam.(curiously, the Param Vir Chakra was designed by his brother’s mother in law)

Gen. JFR Jacob had a different view of FM Maneckshaw, Gen.V.N Sharma has one of Gen.Sundarji. The truth may hold in either versions or more likely, partly in both. Let’s leave it at that. The good General has earned his right to his opinion and while we can disagree based on our preferences, let’s treat the General with respect. He and his family have earned that.

Btw, this is a link to an interview of the two brothers, both looking incredibly fit for their age.

Sticking to agreements went for a toss right after galwan. Diplomatic hypocrisy is the new policy vis a vis China. You can be rest assured the Chinks are being paid back well in their own coin.
